Currently I have FH4 ultimate, which I play on PC or Xbox depending on time of day etc.
I can only play online on one at a time. e.g. if I am playing on PC and launch a second (kids) account on xbox it says game in use, play here instead. Xbox is set to home to enable sharing for anyone who logs in and I have gold on my account so online play is shared.
If I had game pass on my account as well, would it recognise 2 licences so I can play on PC with the game copy while the kids account plays via gamepass.
If not then likely I’ll pick up a used disc so it can be shared on multiple kids accounts but would be nice to be all digital.
Hi, yes my account is gold + has Forza, the other accounts have never had gold or any games bought as the kids are only just getting old enough to need anything more than a login to the shared xbox with supervision.
I wanted to drive around with the oldest but it wouldn’t let me. Thought about my gold upgrade to game pass, seems excessive to get them GP at the moment as that would mean I can’t play PC GP.
there is no reason you need to buy anything more. Certainly just a matter of how you set main and secondary device + having this message suggest it is trying to open the game for the very same profile which, for sure, is not possible. I would recommend you log a ticket / go to you microsoft account and ask for support, I remember using chat and getting the support needed when I had some issues.
While playing fh4 on pc make sure you have your account on the xbox signed out
Also make sure the xbox is set as that accounts home console
I do this all the time without issue
You might need to have auto logon turned off on your xbox…otherwise it will cause the issue you are having
