Game is not launching! Microsoft Store

What the hell is going on? I bought the game like half year ago. It worked fine. Now it doesn’t launch and many others have this issue. Just go read recent reviews on Microsoft Store. It’s not my fault, I’m on clean os, reinstalled game etc. I can’t refund and I seriously feel robbed. One of the biggest IT company on the world with tons of money and nothing is being done. Fix this right now or let me refund.

Besides that there are other issues. Game takes 1 minute to load, just displays that intro picture on desktop. When it worked fps limit is constantly being turned back on to random setting. Game was also getting stuck after race.

Oh so every single owner must now personally ask for help to make game to work now after purchase. As I said many others have the same issue. Check out reviews in Microsoft Store.

I’m not asking for help. I tried some of the tips they copy paste under reviews but didn’t help much. I’m asking devs to fix the game as this is obviously not only my specific issue. Also I checked reviews on Steam and I don’t see anyone complaining about similar problems so it must be Microsoft Store related.

Je suis actuellement dans la même situation que toi… Aucuns moyens de lancer le jeu depuis le Microsoft Store ou l’application Xbox.

4 jours que j’essaie toutes les manipulations possibles mais toujours rien, on a plus qu’à attendre malheureusement

Honestly, without knowing exactly what’s happening when you say “won’t launch” because that could mean many things. All I can is that last month, my game started doing the exact same thing. I’d launch, get the splash screen, wait, wait, wait and then it would just disappear and nothing else. So I tried again with the same result. I was also frustrated and angry. Put in tickets. Ran through the long list of “fixes” on the support page and wasn’t getting any closer to a solution.

But my game will run. I literally have to keep re-launching it until it does. Some days I have to relaunch it once. Other days, it’s take 7 - 10 times. I’ve given up waiting for Tech support to fix it. They won’t. This might not be the same issue as yours though.

Oh and it always seems to be more problematic the first day of a new season. So today… yeah, I expect I’ll have to access my “abundance of patience” protocol.

That’s what happens to me. 1 minute wait of that splash screen on desktop then nothing. Sometimes game launches but it’s a miracle and too random to accept. I also sent a ticket but read from others they don’t do anything with it either. I made my post while being pretty upset after trying to fix and seeing so many others have it too and not being fixed for months so sorry for not being specific enough.

Hey no worries. Sorry you’re in the same boat with the rest of us. I guess all I can suggest is don’t be in a hurry to get to play. If patience is in short supply, it’s probably best not to bother. I feel your pain.

Hey guys… I have the same problem and not know from whom to ask for help!
I go thru lot of troubleshot demands and suggestions and nothing helps.
I was on Windows 11 so I do clean reinstall, install all requirements ( MS Visual C++, latest nVidia drivers, Xbox Console Companion, new xbox app, everithing is updated ( store, windows, all drivers…), sometime game will start after about 5min. of waiting and most of the time wont start at all.
Then I was try to clean install of windows 10 and repead again all above stuff but FH-5 have the same issue!
My PC meets recomended requirements and everithing is updated and all other big online games works perfectly but only games from MS Store have issues!!!
Today I download from MS Store Roblox and have same issue, then I uninstalled it and download it from the web ( Roblox Download ), and it work perfect !!!
So … the issue is MS Store related 100%

As far as I’m concerned, Forza Support is just too lazy or unable to figure this out. Everything we see on the support page are things that point squarely at the user to chase down and fix. In my opinion, when ALL of these suggestions fail to work, then the obvious problem is with whatever save file they have on the server that we sync to every time we launch the game. I mean, if everything checks out on the user end, then it clearly should indicate the problem is on their end.

The sync file on the server is causing the issue.

They’re the only ones who can fix that issue.

Game worked yesterday and today’s morning. Still taking very long time to start. Now won’t launch again. It’s ridiculous.

I’m on steam and have been having this issue since the rally DLC. Reached out for support so many times got 0 support from the bloody incompetent team. I’ll not buy any other forza game again. What’s the point of paying for a game I can’t play. Idiots
