Since update 9, game will hang on the splash screen after “optimizing shaders” and will load indefinitely - requiring either multiple game restarts, or a full system restart to get game to load to main menu. - Issue seems worse after putting user chosen car in car bay 1 to replace Cadillac cover car on display at main menu.
Game will crash when exiting a race back to main menu on black transition screen with loading animation in lower left freezing. Process can sometimes be killed using “end task” in task manager, other times can cause full system lockups when attempting to end process after using “end task” option causes task manager to stop responding.
When in the “my tunes” section, if you delete a tune, once loading screen has finished, all other tune data will be blank with “No files found for this category” message in the card on right side.
Error when attempting to download tunes with message “too many saves for files of this category” error. Some cars have tunes that are locked and cannot get deleted, even if other tune files are available meaning excess tunes cannot always be deleted.
- No user friendly way of seeing all tube files saved to make cleaning up easier, meaning user has to select each car from garage and go into my tunes to see if there are any files that can be deleted individually which is incredibly time consuming.
Penalty system updates seem to force drivers to capitulate positions as being hit while holding your line results in you being given a penalty is a collision occurs, even if it is the fault of other driver being aggressive and trying to push you off track.
- on the penalty system, if another driver taps you from the side, once you start to slide, they can turn into you and spin you completely without getting a penalty.
This needs fixing urgently as races have gotten so dirty, I have slaughtered my safety rating by being reduced to rage quitting races after being tapped and then spun by people that know how to abuse the flaws within the penalty system.
These are just the main ones I’ve noticed so far and have not been fixed by update 10 and continue to make playing this game such a negative experience , only adding to the plethora of other issues T10 have been incapable or unwilling to fix since launch.
