Game crash changing graphics settings - taking photos - finishing races

Hotwheels brought an amazing performance boost with it which was awesome. It’s still pretty poor performance for the level hardware PC’s can run but it’s like day and night compared to pre-hotwheels.

Ever since then changing graphics settings is sometimes 50/50 on a crash, sometimes it’ll crash 2-3 times in a row after relaunching if I try make changes
Usually I can take 4-5 photos then it’ll crash, and I’ve noticed finishing races has the same effect. It’ll give credits then crash.
Also noticed the game starts to run like complete garbage after a couple of hours leading to massive stuttering.

Anyone else having problems like these?

AMD FX-8350 4.0ghz
Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1060 6gb

And it seems like it’s just us on nvidia cards that are crashing.
