Fuel/Tire wear

Back in FM4 me and bunch of my friends ran racing series’es where races were about 1h long
We used drag tires, and with sim damage on you really started feeling that the tires are going after 15-20 minutes, and pitstop was around 30 minutes, in some slightly over 1 hour races you had the option to pit in twice or then you had to drive bit slower to conserve your tires.

With FM5 we got “improvement” The tire wear was faster, and we actually could run out of fuel… But we never felt the need of replacing the tires, And due drag tires were being eaten away so fast we couldnt use them either. we ended up in situation that pitstops were mandatody due fuel consumption, but we never feel any significant issues with tirewear.

So essentially pitstops have been “only for fuel” during FM5 and 6, some cars suffering from higher fuel consumption / smaller fuel tank much more than others.

Anyone who has spent any longer driving on track knows that most cars will start having notable tire issues before the fuel tank is empty (Race cars might be different)
I just hope they get fuel and tirewear to be at least somewhat matching in the game.
Say, On the scale of 100% fuel used = 70-95% tires used, assuming you werent drifting.

The only cars where you somewhat notice the tire wear before you run out of fuel are the Indy and F1 cars.

Instead of the forced quick stops you have in some races they should do it on fuel/tire base, feels more realistic AND it adds a risk to reward factor into every race

I’d like if they could balance out endurance races where you at least have to do 1 stop but the others are up to you. Kinda like how F1 makes you chose both tire compounds requiring to do 1 stop.
