I know obviously you dont run out of gas but if the gauges do work itll be interesting to see if mileage and consumption are affected.meaning if youre going 100mph flooring it youll get 8mpg or less and the gauge will plummet.
I ran my catterham till the tank was “empty” and it didnt effect the car at all so yes your fuel gauge does drop but it doesnt effect the car in any way shape or form
Any such gauge movement is likely a carry over from Forza Motorsport, but I doubt the ability to run out of fuel in Horizon 2 much less the existence of simulated fuel consumption at all.
I think it would be nice if there were gas stations spotted around that functioned as places to quickly fix vehicle damage. I had to turn damage off, because it just got annoying. I’ve always liked the idea of fuel, but here, not sure why, but I wouldn’t want it. Instead of being able to pause and tune and all that, I would have preferred a tiny challenge and immersion of getting to a nearby station
I wasnt emplying that we would run out of gas btw, just gauge functionality was the topic. I will have to see if it exists, just a random topic on another board and wondered if it was legit.
A “plummeting fuel gauge” does imply the possibility of running out of fuel and would, inevitably, be raised; thus, the reason for me including that in my response.
I’m not sure, as all the clocks on the carts now just display 12:00, so they’ve obviously removed some functionality with regards the dials so not sure if they’d now add the fuel gauges?
A Veyron at full throttle will use up a full tank of gas in just 12-15 minutes. I tore up and down the highway in one at top speed for a good 20-30 minutes the other day, so it seems we have infinite fuel.
Sounds just torturous… I’ll think of you when I reluctantly take out my debit card to gas up my 458 Italia, j/k. It would be nice to see as an option in a future game but I highly doubt they would apply it.
