Welcome to my gallery, please feel free to comment on my posts, I really enjoy the feedback and its an integral part of making the community what it is. Although my name may suggest i’m a gun toting outlaw, the truth is much less exciting. A relatively middle aged father of three residing on the shores of England, whilst I love the idea of many games I don’t ever stray far from Forza or Fifa, good pick up and play games that don’t hurt my brain trying to play them.
Forzatography has been a new passion for me after completely ignoring it in earlier Forza franchises. But what value you get, supercars, classic cars, unique cars and more coupled with some great shooting locations really gives you the chance to experiment. Experiment is what its all about for me I love taking a car and looking for a location and thinking what can be done here, how can i make this shot interesting. As I’ve grown into Forzatography I find that the cutting room floor is getting messier but I am able to be more selective in my shots and what I want to share.
What better place to be able to show your new found addiction than within the forums, a great friendly place with plenty of helpful advice and some top notch Forzatographers whos work is inspiring, jaw dropping and at times mind bending. So if you are thinking of starting your own gallery than I’d really encourage you to do so, follow the helpful guide set up by Hachikata -https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst91784_How-to--Post-Photos--Signatures-and-Other-Useful-Information---UNDER-CONSTRUCTION.aspx, get a Flickr account or similar and share your creativity with others.
In the pages that follow hopefully you can see how my gallery has evolved and that I do enjoy a variety of shots that Forza offers up. Some earlier bits are missing due to the shots not been hosted from Flickr and having to delete from the Forza hub so I’d really encourage you to setup Flickr(or similar) as soon as possible.
A couple more from me, i was going to enter a couple into the comp but sadly missed the closing date. First up the Alfa Romeo 8c competizione (can never remember the model name).
Some frames of the 2011 Subaru WRX, great car to drive in game. Think I reset damage on jump shot which i should have left, also had a go at trying to get the splash effect in a pool of water but struggling to get the look i wanted. Any pointers and examples welcome here.
Last two for now, love the warthog, really like the feel from this one and a landscape to end.
Those of you that have pictures without the watermark are you taking screenshots without them in place on xbox or is it a pc settings thing? Been caught out a few times now where i forget to move the logo.
Anyway a couple more shots to end the day. I tried to get a feel of the Ford Raptor going about his daily business, case in point with watermark on second one.
Thanks. I played about with it for ages but didn’t really like how the front wasn’t affected by the water so set the camera slightly back. Perhaps in hindsight I should have taken 2 pictures and compared them side by side. Thanks for the advice though.
Some shots of the v8 Lotus Esprit, think the car really suits black and white so will do some more in the future. Also a night shot with those lights up is a must. Its a big learning curve to get those really great shots not too mention time consuming but i’ll keep giving it my best.
Definitely a big learning curve, but don’t worry too much about it. Some guys in here have years and multiple games of experience, with some practice and patience you’ll be there too.
I think the landscape shot is great, the colour works well. However, the contrast might be a little on the heavy side
Many thanks for the feedback and advice, first time out trying photo mode in any game. Sadly overlooked it in forza horizon 2, just trying to find my way by adjusting the sliders and the effects they create. Some stunning stuff in your gallery by the way, look forward to seeing more and trying to find my feet.
Many thanks for taking the time to look and comment its really appreciated (as i don’t really know what i’m doing). Got 2 shots from the Esprit and then i am going to try and organize my gallery better, got that newbie itch of having to post everything but think its helped really appreciate the differences in quallity that are achievable.
Fairly happy with these but think need to mix up the lighting a bit and maybe angles some more. I’ve tried to be a little more inventive with the shots. Feedback welcome.
