Guguhypes World of Forzatography (Lost and found update 1 11/11/2016)

Hi,

my name is Marius, I’m 30 years old and I live in Germany playing Forza since Forza Motorsport 2, but this is my first visit in the world of Horizon.
I’ve never taken much photos in the previous Forza games though.
I like the variety of cars in Horizon 2 and taking pictures of them, but I also like taking landscape photos as many of my reallife photos are landscapes.
So here are my first attempts in forzatography, hope you enjoy them
All photos in this gallery are stock unless stated.

Really like the 4th and 5th shots with the Land Rover. Beware of the addictive nature of Forzatography…Once bitten it’s an itch that has to be scratched.
Think I’ve spent more time taking photos than racing in the last month!

Thanks Sergi01978 for your feedback.
You’re so right about the possible forzatography addiction ^^ I’ve started taking pictures last weekend and in every Horizon session since I’ve taken more pictures than in the previous one…

Time for a fresh load of tasty pictures ^^

Some new shots from last night mainly of my new X-Bow:

Awesome shot!

Nice shots! I checked out your Flickr too and I am amazed at your landscape shots. Truly stunning.

Thanks a lot guys for your compliments!

@Lethal Drift:
Unfortunately I’ve not been very active at Flickr for quite a while now (some years? huh…). Many real life changes and pause in photography.
Due to forzatography, I think I’m going to upload some real life photos here and then in the future

Nice work! Your composition is great. May I suggest that you may want to calibrate your tv settings so it matches what comes up on the computer? You’ll get better control over contrast that way

Thanks iHomie for your feedback.
I’ve calibrated my TV with the tool included on xbox one or do I misunderstand? The brightness level in Forza though is set at default.

Another update enjoy

Village view after driving the winding coastal roads from Castello to Nizza too fast

Short break

The next day cruising somwhere inland

An unusual sunset

I’ve splitted up the update because it actually consists of two small series.
This series is from yesterday evening, I was messing around with my new 1980 Abarth 131.

Looks really good so far Guguhypes! You seem to have a knack for scenic shots. If I can, I’d suggest maybe posting larger pictures. It’s probably just me, but I feel like I’m squinting to get a good look at some of your works. Anyways, keep going. I can’t wait to see what else you do.

Cheers,
Ace

Thank you Ace for your kind words!
Don’t do the links on the photos work properly? I’ve adapted the size of my photos in this thread according to other members photo sizes in this forum. But I can try to post larger previews.
You’re also very welcome to visit me on flickr

Thanks a lot for visting me again Sergi01978! I’m starting to get addicted to this new pastime ^^ Yesterday evening I’ve barely completed a few races, always pausing the game for photomode… so a new batch is coming soon…

Thank you Morc for the compliment! I was already visiting your flickr, very nice collection! You actually don’t have FH2 yet?

Fantastic shots Guguhype
So it appears that the forzatography bug bit you then?

Nice start here. Keep it up! =)

Another update from me  still driving the 1980 Abarth 131, I kinda like vintage cars  Hope this update isn’t too boring hence.

Some cruising near Casteletto

Nightfall begins

No need to stop racing though

The morning after

Good boy

Another day goes by

Morning comes again, cruising through Castelettos mountains

This one is from yesterday evening, out of the set

Hope you like it!

You really do have a talent for scenic shots Guguhype. The last one is particularly eerie. If I could suggest one thing, I’d say to remove the vigenette. It is put on at default and many people don’t notice it, but it does creep in to the shots. Removing it will get rid of the small fading marks in the corners and brighten up the shot a little. Keep 'em coming!

Cheers,
Ace

Really great shots Guguhype!

Thank you guys for your feedback.

Thanks Ace for the advice regarding the vignette. I’ve nerver payed attention to it, but it really makes the shots darker. I’ve compared them with and without vignette.
For now on the vignette will stays off ^^ next update coming soon
