Hey guys, HG here. As you can tell, this is my first post on the FM network, and I don’t really need any pointers and such, I’m simply here to ask a few questions and testing the waters here.
I’ve been playing the FM series (and Horizon subseries) since their inception over a decade ago on the original Xbox, and I’ve always been a gearhead of sorts. (For any of you wanting any further info regarding the matter, look me up on Garage Amino.) I’ve always noticed that I tend to create “understated” designs, and many of my friends and other random players tend to think so as well. I always try to keep my tunes “semi-realistic” to what you’d actually find on the streets. I tend to stay away from 700hp, AWD, Turbo, Civic Type Rs and would/will instead create a 2,500lb, 300hp, FWD Integra, or whatever.
Essentially what I’m getting at is this: One: Is there anybody who is in the market (Autoshow) for anything close to that? I do my absolute best to create and cater to anyone who wants anything, as far as the game and my own knowledge of cars will allow me to. I always keep wheel diameter and width within the manufacturers measurements. (Ex. Enkei doesn’t make a 255mm/9" wide wheel, so I’ll either make them smaller, or find a different wheel that suits my use.) If you want an “all motor” car, I can (as everyone can) make you an E85 powered road car, etc.
Two: Is there anyone who plays FH3 currently and has any interest at all in my tunes or cars? If so, hit me up.
I’m also currently looking for a crew of die-hard automotive enthusiasts to join as well, as I’m currently in a crew, but we just exist and nothing more.
I’m into everything from 50s and 60s racers, 60s and 70s muscle, 80s and 90s rally, etc. However, I mostly find myself toying around with lightweight, inexpensive, relatively-low-power cars that are usually either naturally aspirated or turbocharged.
I also do custom paint designs as well. My most well-known car in the community as of now is my AWD, VR38 (540 estimated WHP) swapped 240SX that I’ve done a “custom” Nissan Millennium Jade Metallic spray on, with Volk TE37s in Volk’s signature “dark bronze” color.
Anyhow, I’m sorry that I was all over the place.
Hopefully the community is as good as it was way back when.
Thanks.
