Hey im ney to this but im having a problem i did two 50 lap races in a car i own in free mode on the track indanapolis 500 on the hardest mode and i won both races but my lap time of .46.505 wasnt up loaded to the leader board nor did i get the credits or level points or affinity bonus for racing whats going on i should be ranked 47 place on the leader boards
Updates ok for me when I do 10-12 lap races. I think I’ve done longer but not sure. Have you tried with, say, a 5-lap race?

Had the same problem.
To make sure your times post, run the track you want in rivals mode.
So, if you wanted to race the lotus f1 at spa, you would go to x class rivals etc.
My new times are not getting posted either. Twice now i hav done a 1:43:800 on road america with Lotus F1 and the leaderboards still say i hav done a 2:02(dated mounths ago). I thought maybe my lap was dirty so i tryed it again, no caution, finish race, it sayes i beat my rival, look at leaderboards and it stii sayes 2:02 
I was in rivals though, not free play.

I have had many lap time issues being different from the actual lap time presented at the top right of the screen (when playing) from the leaderboard. My leaderboard seems to show my previous fastest lap time instead of the new personal record fastest lap time.
Whether I’am playing Free Play or Career mode (have not checked in multiplayer).
For example, if the in-game lap time says that I completed a lap in 1:37:274 it would be different from the leaderboard lap time being 1:42:378.
And yes i do compete thru which ever game play i go thru (Free Play and Career).
I would assume that the leaderboard is retaining my previous lap time and is not updating the latest lap time.
I have also tried this with different Car Class as well to check if it was particular to the car/class. Sometimes it would update and sometimes it would retain the previous fastest lap time.
Any suggestions?
Let me guess … you’ve rented the vehicle? If so, that would be your problem.
I don’t rent them. I use my own cars. I have done rivals as well to ensure it wasn’t just a play mode/ car / class… but this problem still persist albeit sometimes. 
My question was for the original poster … I’m not looking to hijack his thread by troubleshooting your issue. Just be sure your fastest lap times are not invalidated.
I understand. But the original poster said he owned the car. but seems like we both are having the same problem with the time updating for the leaderboard.
I am sure my lap time is validated since i see it on the screen being displayed that my time is faster then the previous time and so forth. But i am assuming that it is not being registered when it tries to update on the leader board… it simply keeps the previous time and finished up the race.
I assume that it might be a memory comparison problem, or over overriding with new lap time. (i am cs major… lolz)
Since it doesnt seem like this is a user/player based problem. i’ll hit up the Forza team

Hijacking doesn’t seem to be a problem. The OP hasn’t even posted in a month, so basically AllFatherZeus resurrected this to get help. Unfortunately I don’t have any answers though, and it doesn’t look like anyone else had any either.
If you lose connection to the servers for even one second on that lap it will not be posted to the leaderboards as well.
