We are coming to update 7, a slight feeling that clean players will be harmed once again, because? Imagine that the opponent tries to make the curve by pushing you to the wall, what will happen? Let’s all go back to the forum and thank Palyground Games again for giving players “what we ask” kkkkk, it’s one disappointment after another.
Is it a great difficulty to add ghost adventure? This function is already created in the game, just instantiate the class.
It is really disappointing, it is very easy to develop all these improvements.
Make it clear to all of us that you do not want to do anything we are asking for. Why do not you talk about the difficulty you have in solving this? Is it lack of professionals? Why not hire?

Well, non-contact adventure should’ve been a thing from the start. All ranked stuff should absolutely be non-contact and with Freeroam Rush removed (that garbage mode can go to the bin straight away as it’s too much RNG and unfair depending on car spec.).

I want to be honest:

Horizon 4 Online Play ist still simply: Disgusting.
That’s the one true and descriptive word.
Disgusting.
It kills my appetite to play online. Totally.

The main reason is: Team Races and Games.
The second reason: Freeroam Rush.

This comes for a regular FM7 League Player and FH3 Playground Games Addict.

They definitely ruined flag rush. That was the only mini game I cared to play, it was perfect in FH3. 3 or 4 different zones with flags everywhere. Now we have capture the flag and protect the base. EXTREMELY BORING

The free-for-all playground games (set up from the actual playground starting point) still have multiple flag zones (increases with number of players in the lobby). And if you play in a team adventure, there is still a lot of strategy involved, first person to the zone distracts defenders everyone else attacks the score zone from different angles and jumps that have to be defended from the jump location (or they fly over your head into the score zone).

I would have loved to have had the exclusive rewards be for seasonal playground events in free-for-all playground lobbies of King and/or Flag (but I also know a huge majority would be angry/frustrated out of their mind that the reward was “locked behind PVP”). I literally laughed out loud at how many people brought a stock D100 Isetta to the seasonal game (4 on the opposing team and 3 on my team, so it was basically 3 vs. 2 with 7 spectators in the game). I drove around in reverse the whole game of king with the occasional “GAME OVER YEAHHHHHH” quick chat… team won in one round, the entire other team left at the start of the second round (which was survival). I would like to thank the opponents for realizing there was no point in dragging things out and saving us all 5 rounds of Isetta ridiculousness. Hint: please equip your Isetta with RALLY tires and RALLY Suspension, widest tires and the motorbike engine (tune in storefront if needed: EZ Season Win)

Flag Rush on the Hot Wheels island is what kept me around playing FH3 a little longer. I went a very long time staying off the mainland, once I got sick of Hot Wheels, I was done with the game. Then those 4 achievements came up and guess what, I had already accumulated enough that I never had to complete them. When I loaded up the game, all 4 popped up lol

I’m done with the rankeds and the online mode in general.
15 minutes waiting to get in a S1 Cross Country event… I don’t understand, if the game let you choose between Road, Dirt and Cross Country in the single player mode, why is not it so to play online?
Then, another 15 minutes to play againist three OP Bone Shaker. That car is ridiculous, I also have one but c’mon, I don’t want to play it in every A-class event in order to win. This car should be banned.

Rammers and wall riders are a thing, but nothing as annoying as the free roam rush. That mode should be removed, or maybe just determine the starting position for the next race.

With the online in that state, and no class rivals yet, I’m loosing the desire to play this game.

It takes them 6 months or more to fix multiplayer issues. It’s confirmed.

Sorry guys no wallride fix this update either. Bugs in the cross country messed that up

How many times we need the hear “maybe in next update” before we get even one actual fix in multiplayer? I think i havent see any game in recent years what have online and dont have any updates in 6 months.

My fix was to go play DiRT Rally 2.0 instead. A lot of things have been added/updated regarding Forza Horizon 4 (across various aspects of the game) but the driving and multiplayer experience is no longer worth my time, so I’ve moved on.

My club’s abandoned it too though lack of lobby options and the 12 player session limit.

And abaout custom adventures, that is not coming before update 9.

I’m not even worried about the wallride fix at this point. I skip the dirt and road lobbies anyway until it goes live. Custom adventure is coming and we all have been asking for that! A little silver lining

Im not gonna hype custom adventure before i see that in action, while it’s something many is asked i wonder is there gonna be enough players in those ones.

Is the new ‘Time for an adventure!’ achievement not working? Just completed a full adventure in first place and… nothing.

To be frank, I’m very annoyed at their decision to make new cars are locked behind the percentage of seasonal events you have completed, especially when there are some very questionable design decisions in the online modes. My biggest frustration is how the game doesn’t count winning 3 out of 5 rounds as a victory, but instead forces us to go through all 5 rounds. Why is this a thing? In all of my matches, once the winning team wins 3 out of the 5 rounds, the losing team leaves the match, meaning that the winning team wins by default but in a lot of cases, I get zero experience from the match. This absolutely needs to be updated, because it just wastes everyone’s time.

I believe this is something that was patched in very early after the game’s release. IIRC some best-of-3 trials were bugged, terminating early and not giving rewards - that is, the team championship structure was glitchy. So they fixed it with an update that has since forced all championships to go through all of its events. I GUESS in the case of coop trials it could be rationalized by saying you get to practice all of the tracks for your next attempt, but in actuality it’s just a less-than-ideal way to fix a mysterious bug.

Just played FH1 Multiplayer for the first time in about a year and a half. I can’t describe how much fun it was, it’s the most enjoyable experience I have had in any Forza game in a long time. Created my own custom lobby (usually doing S - R1 street racing) and went to play for hours and loved every second of it. It just makes me wonder how did the multiplayer end up so attrocious in FH4. I’m interested in the sound of Custom Adventures though and hopefully it’s the improvement we are all after.

Multiplayer is lackluster and a hollow shell compared to FH3, see my fancy spreadsheet on why.

And because it probably hasn’t been said enough, Freeroam Rush is lame in every series. It’s okay in Cross-Country,
