Yea, right. Like they thought about that. There is literally no possible way it could be any worse than it is. This game is an absolute mess when it comes to online, free-for-all did nothing even remotely purposeful to correct anything. If you don’t have a team of 6, you might as well not play.

I’m curious why you want to enter a ranked FFA event as a convoy instead of just entering Ranked Team Racing with that same convoy? I am guessing the only reason you want to enter FFA as a convoy is to scheme as a team and take advantage over all the individual drivers… A free-for-all is every single person for themselves… If you just want to FFA against your friends make a private event. Plus if you could enter Ranked FFA as a convoy, people with 12 teammates could just game the system and all take turns pushing a single driver to grand master. It makes no sense to allow a convoy into a ranked FFA, which is exactly why it isn’t allowed.

Initially, each one has his theory about classified adventures, we want to play free for all classified adventure with friends to have individual results between each member of the team, to know who has more skill in a certain type of race. If you restrict the train only to the adventure in classified team, sometimes we do not have the 6 members of the team in the adventure which is in the way, because the other players that the game chooses at random may not have the ability to compete in the adventure.
When we try to get in train in the free for all classified adventure, a message is displayed “some of your train is not classified for this type of adventure” being that all are classified in rank 11.

That’s exactly right. Like I said in my post “If you don’t have a team of 6, you might as well not play.” I play with 1 or maybe 2 other good racers at a time, I can’t race free-for-all (which is ridiculous that we can’t) and when we race team, it’s 100% terrible all around and we get 3-4 awful random teammates
I wonder whether it is necessary to display our league ranks to other players. I say that simply because if you’re one of the few (or only) higher ranked players then it seems to me that it acts as a target on your back, as others know they can get points, or more points, if they finish ahead of you. (I don’t mean beating me fair and square, I mean that it might act as a ‘RAM THIS PERSON TO WIN’ motivator.)

This is how I felt in FH3 some time after I got my star. At first I thought it was great getting that star next to name until I realized it only made you a target. Giving you something to stand out due to your accomplishments in video games these days only makes bitter players come at you with malice.

Experienced the same at beginning I got star then many got star and it quite reduce., Fact is ramming/wall riding is an event in FH3 while clean driving is one in FH4 ( mainly on ranked ) . FH3 also had back race drift experts sometime able to make more points than you in a championship. For me, the good thing that could have been done is letting the end of race position determine the winner but give progress only to clean player. That way, you play ramming, wall riding, you get first but Zero progress point. Not putting a full stop to bad racing but I am pretty sure it would have removed a lot of it.

Also, most players turns off their x-box when they realize they’re not going to beat any of the higher ups, meaning the ones that stay in the lobby get less points when the adventure is over.

Good point. Other drivers are definitely more aggressive when they’re lower rank than me. So much so that if I’m the highest rank in the room by a meaningful margin, I assume everyone will be corner bombing and out to wreck me.

Guys, Is it just me or cars in FFA behaves differently than in solo mode and seasonal championship races? It happens often that im testing some car, even win a pvp championship without a problem but when i try to steer the same car in FFA it suddenly is harder to control. Sometimes it behaves like im driving on ice. Anyone had the same issue?

Dude the physics of the entire game changed when the FFA update came in. I had to re-tune ALL. Literally ALL my cars over again because the cars were not handling the same. The turn-in was virtually gone, even tapping on the handbrake would not get the car to even slide. I had to stop streaming on mixer for a while because it started to look like I was purposely riding on the wall. People who have played in rooms with me know thats not my style. This week I finally have the cars driving like they used to. My worry is the next update will switch things back to the old dynamics and i’d have to tune everything over again

I thought I was having trouble getting cars to be neutral when before they were ok. And when they do let go it’s even harder, the loss of grip is more severe. Close to what you felt?..

I just completed the “Ranked Free for All Racing” championship and my final score was rank 14 & 1572 as the rank point system, but I also early in the Series 5 League Progress I also ranked 17 & 832 in that same system (I had 1 qualification to be qualified) but in the “Ranked Team Games” and it says, that I was only qualified for my Games Series Rewards… Will my Games League score affect my Free-For-All League score and override it? Or will it be vice-versa? I’m just curious… Any answer before the end of the Series 5 ends would be nice…

Update… I just needed to exit the game in order to get the new list, lol.
And it wouldnt solve anything. Ghost mode racing might as well be time trials or offline solo mode.

In a move that surprised prettyu much nobody, OFF ROAD and Extreme OFF ROAD are very META, cuz u can simply carry on the FR
I thought that I will give the new solo FFA ranked a chance. I have done 9/10 of my qualification races and I’m not sure I even want to do that one last race. It’s just awful. Plus, there isn’t any class below A. Only races I’m sort of OK with the driving are Street Races during nighttime, because people can’t ram you so well, since they don’t see much, and there is no walls either. Although in other aspects FH4 might be the best game in Horizon series, but MP in FH4 is, hands down, the worst in the series.
I think the best MP was in FH3. XP based championships actually needed skill and rewarded people, who drove clean. For those, who moan about loosing to a last place drifter, I would say you didn’t drive clean enough. FACT.
