Forzathon points

I like to set myself certain goals and challenges. Just hit the latest one: reach 100,000 Forzathon points (earned).

I’ll never be able to spend them all. Ever.

I’m now suffering post climactic comedown after the final Horizon Arcade to get past 100K. Not much left to do in this game I love/hate.

Congrats…I guess? I’m only bobbing around 2k or so because I don’t care for them. I basically only use these points to buy the clothes I don’t own to not have them showing up in wheelspins.

not that far behind you, on 88,743

you’ve not used the radio at all?

I mute it so I don’t hear it but do get skill songs

I set out to get 7 wins in the eliminator, the rest is history

Thanks, No congratulations needed, it’s not really a feat worth celebrating. :joy:

Nice to see someone else hammers out the Arcades and skill perks (it’s unavoidable accruing FP when unlocking Wheelspins / Supers on most trees)!

I never turn the radio on unless I am purposely seeking a skill song, in which case it’ll be radio eterna for the longer tracks and Carmen’s dulcet Spanglish tones!

Impressive numbers.
Apparently I’m at 146k. That could easily be doubled if I could find more populated lobbies for arcades. If I enter an arcade and no-one’s there I just quit to find a new session. It’s not enjoyable without other people.
I like spending them each week and sending all the hard-to-find cars out to new players.
If you’re done with arcades, that’s a bummer. Arcades need all the people it can get.

Bonzpop is one of the few legit max prestige level players out there and that for a reason.

When it comes to hard-to-find cars in the shop I don’t remember when it was the last time that there actually was something actually “rare” (not purchasable) in there. All the cars that are normally in there can be aquired normally. That’s why the shop is just a sink for a second unnecessary “currency” IMO.

@PlageBLN Thabks for “bigging me up” lol
I wholeheartedly share the view (if I can interpret your comments as such) that truly hard to find cars (that can’t be bought in Autoshow) should be placed into the Forzathon shop each week. It should also cost more to ‘buy’ FPs from car masteries and, in turn, the reward for completing a Horizon Arcade should be higher that 10% of the cost of the more costly car in the shop. It’s a weird economy and I rarely see an arcade event with more than one other player (even this week when arcade is on the playlist).

I’m going to suggest they reduce the frequency of Horizon Arcade from four per hour to half-hourly. Even now, a Forzathon Live in ForzaHorizon4 (only once per hour, on the hour) is highly populated with players wanting FP.

FH5 introduced some weird things and Arcade is high up on the list, sadly.

Yes, it should be exclusive cars. Not stuff you can buy at the autoshow. It could also be “normal” cars but with for example special liveries you can’t get otherwise. Basically “collector items”. Just as an idea.

I still remember the Forzathons in FH4. We would even stop other things we were doing to go there, show of cars and designs or simply to meet other players. That spirit is completely gone with that Arcade nonsense now.

I think it’s because of it’s popularity in FH4 they’re like they are in this game.

Basically a ‘People enjoyed this so let’s give them a lot more of it next time’ instance.

I personally think it’s unfair to criticise them for trying, I’d rather see them attempting to give us more of something we liked and going too far than ignoring it or worse throwing it away entirely, and we’re certainly no strangers to them doing those two things in the past 2 games.

The problem is that the devs aren’t car (culture) people and have no clue what the playerbase actually wants. The Forzathons were basically always starting at a parking lot or the like where people could park up next to each other in before. It always was like a car meet. The Arcades just start somewhere in “the void”. It’s simply a shame. They destroyed this mode with what ever their incentives were.

Honestly at this point the FH4 Forzathons are more of an irritation than anything else. I already have more points than I’ll ever need to spend, I don’t need an annoying timer beeping at me for 30 seconds.
