Ran Forza P1 car - the NIssan for 6 laps around Daytona Tri-Oval.
Did same routine as last time, next race. Checked forzathon progress, not updated. Back to main menu, checked from there, not updated. Went in AH search for a car, came back not updated.
Backed out to menu, dashboard. Quit game. Restarted and magically on to challenge 3.
Could just be a delay but with backing out of menu’s etc and going in the AH, I’d left it a reasonable time to update. Not saying backing to dashboard is or isn’t necessary - could literally just be a delay as mentioned and didn’t wait long enough.
I’m finding that progress only registers after running another race of any sort. So by switching back and forward between the two new Forzathons, the progress is tracking, but is lagged by one event. Not saying this is definitive, just that it’s working for me!
Both new challenges completed and cars claimed. Interestingly, the Merc (which is the Mercedes-AMG, not the Mercedes-Benz) is the same one that was weirdly awarded to me as an extra car when I did the first Forzathon a fortnight ago, so now I have two. Yay?
Drift event in free play worked for me, and it shows total points and current lap points at all times. Drift HUD in a race will show points per chain as they are earned & banked but won’t show lap points until the end of the lap.
So it’s bad enough that the Forzathons are a tad glitchy. But did anyone else notice that the events are either different in other areas or Turn 10 is changing rules? Look at the first Porsche event in SteveTheP1r4te’s video here.
“Set a drift score of 15000 in a Porsche” instead of “Set a drift score of 15000 in one lap in a Porsche.” And if you watch the video a completely different way of getting the score.
Granted I was able to do the drift score, but it is a bit annoying when someone changes the rules during the event.
Got the achievement notification for the Merc - if I check the forzathon progress, it’s not yet showing my completion of the Hypercar challenge. I’m assuming it is just a delay thing and will pop/ drop the car for me in time.
