Forzathon LIVE (angry)

But it does effect difficulty doesn’t it, when more players signed on to event i’m sure the target is greater.

On another note, why in speed zones for example do some players insist on using a B class car or similar?

Unless they changed it (and it’s entirely possible I missed them doing so), no, it doesn’t scale to the number of participants.

I totally agree, Ti

I’ll be honest, the first few times I was a bit ticked off by this, but after a while, I figured it was like a lot of other things in life that aren’t fair. Now I don’t even notice who is and who isn’t. I just do my thing and enjoy the events.

I bet I´ll have a lot to learn from you guys if it comes to real world driving.

I really get upset if people don´t use their indicators, park on spaced reserved for disabled people or throw their wrappers out of the car…

I really wish I could see things easier and use my energy I waste being mad at those people to driving…

I guess this will be the hardest part for me to learn…

Thank you for your comment!

Yeah i’ve noticed this too, drifting was our final stage earlier and almost every other player parked up on the side of the road. It was just me and two other people doing all the work, they need to punish players that do this because it’s not fair and it’s getting out of hand lately.

Well, now I´m unsure if I should be calm and generous or not

Let´s just say I would be grateful for a system which does monitor a player´s performance and sorts out those who (obviously) don´t even try do be productive…

It would also be great if there would be a hidden ranking system implemented… so if you always try your best (no matter how good it is!) you will only get to play the Forzathon live events with other players who are keen to get the points as fast as possible…

This would also mean, that freeloaders will be paired with other freeloaders in the “matchmaking” of a Forzathon live event and that they will stare at each other during the event, until they get no points at all after the time is up…

But until then, I will try to keep calm

thanks guys!

I couldn’t agree more about how frustrating this is. But I have also many times started a Forzathon and had someones slow internet lag out the game so bad that I can’t even control my car what so ever. Making it impossible to do the event, but as soon as the event is over what do you know I have control of my car. So many annoying issues with this game.

I try not to worry about things people do that don’t affect me at all, and this is one of 'em. Them sitting there has no more effect on me, or you, than if they didn’t show up at all or didn’t even exist. Once you realize that, it then comes down to whether or not you’re going to be mad at someone else’s FP bank account. I can’t see theirs, and even if I could, I can’t think of a reason why I’d care … so I don’t care. Getting worked up by the irrelevant isn’t productive. It would be different if they just sat through Playground games or the Trial, because that affects other people.

I look at the world, and think… what if everyone did that? I then try to correct things that would be bad if everyone did that.

yadda yadda, doesn’t change the outcome. But if it really bothers you, spin donuts and rev tires and spam the horn, usually they go away as you follow and harass…

This doesn’t bug me that much, a bigger issue is getting thrown into an event with little or no players; but something that would be really cool is some sort of recognition for the player or players who contribute the most to the event. Adding a competitive element would help participation and make the Forzathon events a lot more exciting.

Rewarding the top performers would fix this. Freeloaders get the minimum. Top performers get more reward because they earned it.

There will always be people like this. Don’t let it get under your skin. Be content that you’re not them.

Seen many doing this nonsense and yeah some even flaunt it. One person was even parked blowing his sheep horn at everybody else participating. I just saw as that they wanted everybody to know that they were a bottom feeder.

I am quite good at driving through speed zones and hitting jumps for long distances HOWEVER i do not do these things in the 999 X cars. I mean In my cars that have 8.0 or less top speeds still jump further than almost any other person when the danger sign rounds come up. Just because i dont find 999 X even remnotely fun and enjoyable does NOT mean i am a “freeloader”

A real solution to this is adding some sort of report afk feature when doing anything group related. Such systems have existed for over a decade in other multiplayer games. This means that people picking cars that are “fun” do not get punished for no good and valid reason. Picking the generic “best cars” is already the way to go in online adventures. Just look at all the people griping over the boneshaker being overpowered in A class. its because boneshaker is the go too cookie cutter and it takes a player of fantastic skill to overcome a moderate boneshaker. I would say add such a report feature to the map interface.

Forza lives are not online adventure, they are supposed to be fun, and fun means driving stuff that isnt necessarily optimised to be the best in the game.Again thats what ranked racing and rivals is for.

I would thoroughly oppose giving increased forza live rewards only to people who pick the generic leaderboard X cars and I strongly feel that the merits of keeping forza live aimed at “fun” instead of “min/maxing” would prevail

This game got alot unfair players we know that. But it makes me mad if i see people doing nothing at Forzathon. They do it on purpose. Driving a car they cant handle and staying around. They even make fun of it and think its cool to be like that… If i write them they should move her lazy a** i gettin reported. HOW is this fair??? Please do something… We got rid of the Wallrider thats one of the best patches. Pls do it with lazy player too

Don’t let it bother you. And by all means don’t contact them.

They’re trash players, they know it. You’ll experience a lot of that in life, just let it go and be the better person.

If they arent participating they apparently dont get the reward points either
