OK, so I got an email saying I won a swag item. I didn’t think that was right but wasn’t sure because I didn’t get a chance to see the leaderboards before they disappeared those Monday mornings. I received a beanie, pin and wristband with an FRC logo … surprisingly high quality, I must say.
But today I go to the posted results and for Week 6 I’m in the #4 position with the listed prize being the Logitech wheel. I did hit swag item range in week 4, so could it be that I got a week 4 prize but the week 6 prize is still coming?
EDIT: I received 2 emails but didn’t notice the second. However, instead of a Logitech steering wheel for a 4th place finish, the email said I get a Logitech gaming headphone. Uh, what?
EDIT 2: Despite the rules I assume that Manteo Max copied and pasted, I just now checked the official rules and 3rd and 4th get Logitech “products”, not necessarily a Logitech “G Wheel”. Great.
From week 4 onwards what happens is any time other than each persons best is deleted from the leaderboards. Everyone’s best positions then move up in that week’s table.
It is because they changed the rules so only 1 prize per person after week 3.
People can win any prizes in week 1-3 and then win 1 more prize after that.
EDIT: I am confused by Bruno’s positions. I would have thought after week 4 he should not have appeared again. As far as I knew it worked as I said above - keep each persons top position for week 4-7 and delete anything other than their top position. I wonder if they did not deal with duplicates correctly ie people finishing in the same position twice.
