I don’t know this for sure but given that competition Rivals are usually Stock Only for a level playing field, these cars will probably be provided by the Rivals event. So even if they’re Forzathon rewards, users probably won’t need to own them for the event. No DLC required.
Yep I’ve been running it just to see where I could get with it.
Anyone that hasn’t set fast time at Byron Bay Grand Tour Sprint, and wants to have a rivalry to get a jumpstart on comp feel free to add me. It’s kind of a pain racing s900 cars while in stock Porsche.
I’m somewhere in 500s with a 2:16.1. I’ve done a 2:15.9 but dirty on the chicane in run up to second of last turn
Got to admit it’s fun not being in AWD car again and running up the LB and trying to get good exits with no TCS. I may try TCS a bit later on to see if that gets a better time
I think it is in the handbook. But to be sure, just register in GFinity. I am sure it is a requirement.
Prize list is going to be revealed at a later date. Had to read through 5 different websites where they announced the FRC Season 3 launch and Porsche partnership to find that xD
Also, the Elite series is going to serve as a draft for the top drivers to be drafted into a pro-team. THat is straight from GFinity’s website.
I would assume so. Not a whole lot of details are available currently (least as of last checked yesterday)
I couldn’t even view my profile and make sure it’s linked to my gamer tag - no prize info - nothing. Just sign up from all I could tell and handbook and rules to review.
I’m too slow for elite, plus my internet sucks. So I figured I’d do recreational.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but you can currently view and change your profile and view your linked accounts. Not the simplest way, but I assume that’s the only way for now -
Once you’re locked in [on G Finity] and registered for one of the races, click on the “drivers” tab of that race [which shows all registered drivers for that race in the region] and then click on your own GT avatar [G Finity avatar in default]. This will take you to your profile and show basic info on yourself and which accounts are linked ex. Xbox etc. You can also change your avatar here to one of your own liking and see your G points [currently 0].
If you want to change any other info on your profile, go click your avatar at the top right hand side which will give you a dropdown list, including the option to edit your profile or edit your dashboard picture. On the profile edit you can change your e-mail, name, location, age [if you’re not to old - LOL] etc. or link your accounts like facebook, twitter, PSN, Steam account etc.
Recreational doesn’t have drivers list (yet? dunno) and the gfinity icon in upper right of the screen only has log out as an option.
I navigated in the elite section and saw what you meant, but I really don;t want to sign up for elite so I’ll just wait patiently and see if it changes, i guess.
I don’t think this is correct for the Recreation Series, as on https://forzarc.gfinity.net/recreation/rules it says, under “Assists”: “Drivers may use any assists they so wish.”. Any clarification please? If you can use all assists, does it even include the Rewind?
I believe you’re right since it says that in the rules. However, rewind makes the lap dirty so it would ruin your chances of getting prizes.
So, how do you register for the recreation series? I’ve done all the sign up requirements and filled in most of my details, but there’s no button to register like the elite series has.
