Good Morning All im new to this whole rival and league thing but i was accepted into the ESL so im hoping to be able to finish at least in the top 50% my question is what cars do i need to buy in order to compete?
Good question, Bob. I’ve listed the required cars in posts #2 and #3 as part of the schedules:
2015 Ford Mustang GT for week 1 (Rivals and Leagues) is a regular roster car
2013 Ford Formula Ford EcoBoost 200 for week 2 (Rivals and Leagues) is a regular roster car
2016 Ford #66 Ford Racing GT Le Mans is a DLC car that many players received as a free code, but if you didn’t you can install it for $2.99 from the Xbox Store (check the in-game Marketplace first to see if the price applies):

2017 Ford Focus RS for the Finals (week 4) is a DLC car as part of the Hot Wheels car pack, but the ESL rules state that the Finalists will receive a code to download it prior to the Finals race.
Based on your comment it sounds like you’re lumping Rivals and Leagues together for the 50% but that only applies to Leagues; to win something more than the unicorn in Rivals, players must be in the top 128 and rank in the top 16 of your Saturday bracket races and place in the top 4 of the Sunday race that week. Only 12 players worldwide (4 from 3 weeks) will win prizes from the Season 1 Elite Series (if I’m reading the prize chart correctly)

Whats the difference between the Ford Falcon given for playing the league and the one given in the photo/livery contest? They come with different liveries?
Based on the Photo/Livery contest description Special ForzaRC Livery and Photo Competitions in FM6 thread at the top of this forum, it’s the same livery for both those contests and League participants.

Just curious, If we were able to get into the top 50% in one of the weeks of competition would we get both the dlc for that week and the unicorn car or just the dlc (the rules weren’t very clear with that)
Is there something wrong with the leaderboards already? i.e. not registering laps properly, as in elapsed time?

Could you please tell us the time-intervals as well like from 4 pm to 6 pm or so ??
I´m actually not happy about the fact the leages only open for certain hours because I have to work
in real life a lot but well life isn´t fair.
Time intervals were posted as (all are stated in US Pacific Standard Time PST):
1am-7am
10am-4pm
6pm-12 midnight

Yeah I saw its open from 7 pm to 1 am (CET) and thats also cool for
us workers.
But apart from that racing in leagues can be fun but can also be
a desaster esp. with sim-damage 
Even in class “elite” some people still don´t know how to break…

Getting in open leages under the top 50 % is possible for me.
I also registered to the ESL and and checked in to this event.
Do I still have to watch the grand finales?
They are probably at a time not healthy for germans anyway…
ForzaRC S1W1 Qualifying Rivals event
Open: August 8 to 11
Car: Ford Mustang '15, Stock Only (no tuning allowed)
Track: Monza Full (please use other threads for discussion about track limits)
Prizes: Set any lap to receive a Ford Escort RS1600 unicorn with S1W1 livery; - registration is not required for the gift car, which will be sent after the event closes. Place in the top 128 of the global leaderboard when the event closes to be qualified to compete in the weekend races; registration and sign in (by Friday night) is required at ESL for weekend participation.
Hold the phone, if I’m reading correctly, does this mean that just by literally WATCHING the finals that we’ll get VIP for FM6? Sorry if that’s a dumb question but the info was a taddddd unclear.
So just to make sure I understand this properly, you can get all the DLC on offer just for watching the grand final? And where can you watch the grand final to get those?
Watching the Grand Final event isn’t necessary but the prize list includes DLC for viewers. It doesn’t say how viewers will earn the DLC but I suspect it’s not “all DLC for all viewers” - they might drop codes and viewers may have to redeem them before other players do. We’ll probably have to wait until closer to that weekend to find out how that will work.

It seems those prizes were withdrawn as the rules were amended and don’t feature the prizes anymore.
