So, we all know Forza Vista mode, and we all know that when we start the car engine it just goes ahead and REVVVVVVS, but I don’t know about you, and I sincerely hope I am not the only one here to be kinda tired, because let’s be honest, when we start the car and it just revs to the limit its just unnecessecary, and if you ask me; Borderline corny, I mean, don’t get me wrong, the sounds are awesome, but it’s just not what we want in a start up, because honestly, the straight up rev it’s a bit of a buzzkiller, like a dog, when it growls it’s badass and keeps you thinking it twice if you wanna pet it, but when it starts barking it just makes you jump a bit and then it becomes an annoyance.
So, my idea here is to improve idleness and make more accurate start ups in Forza Vista mode since there are many that aren’t similar at all, and that it’s just not as satisfactory, and even after the rev we just go like “Oh well, let’s see the idleness” and it just doesn’t cut it.
There are many cars that don’t really need to roar to be badass or sound good, take for example; This Dodge Redeye, This Shelby or This Camaro, heck, this are just some V8s, but my point is, we want that idle growl start, and if you want to be loud, there are even some cars that don’t need to rev to literally open the gates of hell, like this Bugatti Bolide.
But on top of my request of updating that generic Rev up, or at least adding a mode where you choose how and work on the idle noises of the car which clearly need improvement in many cases, there are some othets that aren’t accurate when we compare it, for Example, the Aston Martin Valkyre, with its noisy transmission sounding like a Fighter Jet, or the McLaren P1 that whines when the Hybrid System and clearly has an insane noise with the turbos, and I could go on forever, but it wouldn’t be fair.
So, in conclusion, with all due respect to the developers at Turn 10, I just hope we can get more accurate start ups and better idleness noises whilst and not just call it a day with a generic roar and an underwhelming idleness noise in Forza Vista Mode or perhaps in freeroam mode.
