Forza veteran since first Forza...in disbelief

There is no point to upgrade cars anyway, YOU DON’T NEED TO WIN THE RACE in Dan Greenwald’s ridiculous new vision of Motorsport

If Forza 6 was exactly the same as 4 or 3 but with nicer graphics you would just be complaining that it is a re-skinned old game with no new content. If you don’t like the changes go and play something else. There are a lot of other games to choose from.

Don’t put words in the OP’s mouth. You are correct that someone would be complaining if Forza 6 was a re-skinned Forza 3 or 4, but why do you assume it would be the OP?

There is always someone complaining about complaints on this message board (and all message boards) and the argument is usually “if they fixed ___________, you’d be complaining about ___________.” Please understand that if the developers make a change to fix common complaints, it will always upset someone else - generating a new wave of complaints. Once you understand this, there will be no reason to attack the OP for simply stating an opinion. Instead you can either agree or politely disagree.

**edit;
…I happen to disagree with the OP. I think the car selection, track selection, and physics in this latest version of the series is the best we’ve seen (except for the missing Japanese tracks). Although there are some minor annoying issues, these are far outweighed by the selection of real life tracks and new race cars. This is my favorite Forza to date. (Although 4 was really good!)

(If I was a painter I’d certainly disagree without the storefronts / auction house, etc… But I’ve always found Auction house to be full of bad tunes and bad paint jobs for sale for millions of credits in hope of making money off a few suckers. - With a small selection of really good stuff thrown in. I would certainly disagree if I was a drag racer too.)

Actually alot of people have said around forums they’d like that. Plus its got more content xD

Bingo.

Where forza 6 excels is in car selection, graphics, and physics.

Where forza 6 fails miserably is in community features and various things to do in multiplayer. All they needed to do was tweak what was in FM4 to improve functionality and fix vote to skip issue.

If you are a loner and get a kick out of racing by yourself against drivatars, then Forza 6 is fanastic. Same goes if you’re the uncompetitive type who prefers to chill and cruise around.

Collaboration, becoming forza famous via different rankings, competitiveness are not encouraged in this iteration. Hence why there are stark contrasts in people’s opinions of the game since the game no longer excels at pleasing all the players in the Forza-verse.

Agreed, the current method of finding paints/tunes and the removal of the Storefront have made things a little difficult for content creators.

Leaderboards and some other UI design choices are a little tricky for die-hard racers and hotlappers.

Car and track selection is fantastic, physics and controller support are reasonably good too.

As it stands however the Forza’s starting to miss that “spark” that kept people playng a single title for years at a time, rather than dropping it after a few months. Forza Motorsport 4 nailed it with its community features, but unfortunately I don’t think we’re going back to that kind of featureset anytime soon.

Meh…Everyone has their opinion…One things for sure people will complain no matter what turn ten does…“You can make some of the poeple happy some of the time yada yada yada”,lol…My gripe is the crappy online play cuz thats all I like to do…They should do some of the rules iracing does.So many times off track and crashes etc and you hit that magic number and you are disqualified on the spot.Or just bring back user created public lobbies. One or the other. But im sure neither will happen.

I disagree about the car library, in my eyes, that has improved immensly, but yeah it does work in favor of bring a new slew of folk to the game, and less enticing for veterans.

I don’t know anymore. I used to come home and think about Forza. On weekends I used to have a beer and want to race.

Not anymore. Something happened.

LOL I almost spit out my morning coffee over that.

Well the game certainly fits in with todays society filled with lazy people who dont want to have to actually earn something lol.

I hit the rewind button as many times as i need to, in order to fix a turn and be able to pass the car ahead of me on the last turn before the finish line lol

I agree on a few points. It would be nice to choose which race I want and when I want to run it, rather that the Stories of Motorsport. This is probably my least favorite single-player career mode layout thus far. The auto-upgrades that get thrown at you in each race are a little annoying, too. I do believe that aside from the missing track from previous games, such as Mugello, Tsukuba, Susuka, and Motegi, the track selection is incredible. I also miss a large number of the cars we saw in 3 and 4 that haven’t been seen since, but I won’t complain about what we do have. Oh, and Mod Cards: Why?

I haven’t played through many races at all actually, as I ONLY play online…but I was very much annoyed when it came time to choose a car to for a race. It would never let my upgraded car run in the races, and then I’d have to go back and get another car. I just remember it being confusing on which parts were ok for that race even though I was within the PI.

Well after playing it a few more days. The career isnt too terrible, as in if you like the cars in the event and you setup your car properly and set the drivatsr properly, it can be decent.

If the first race in the series you have to battle the car at every turn and rewind all the time then you just hate life and want to throw things since youll be battling for more races to come to finish the series.

I havent raced a fwd car yet, and have only raced a awd car once. I usually only use rwd with no traction control or stability, so i have to make sure i pick a good car and set it up properly otherwise im yelling a lot.

This whole thread is laughable. Pitbull has no valid arguments. Then, on top of that, he says this society is lazy yet hits the rewind button as many times as he needs to! Lol! You don’t NEED to use the rec. upgrades. They’re there for newbies who can’t apex. And you can switch cars within the division you chose. Lord. You just can;t switch divisions. Get over it. You chose that division to start. Wanna do a different division, start over. I played Forza 3 and 4 in it’s prime. Forza 4 I got on launch and still play atleast several times a week. Surprise surprise! It still gives the option of rec. upgrades in the same fashion as 6. You bought the game, stop complaining.
