Forza Rewards FAQ

What is Forza Rewards?

Forza rewards is a program that rewards Forza players for doing what they love most: playing Forza games. On the Forza Rewards site, players can redeem monthly rewards, see the Forza Score and Forza Tier that they have earned through past play, and find out how to further increase their score and tier.

How can I enroll in Forza Rewards?

All Forza players are automatically enrolled in Forza Rewards. Players can visit the Forza Rewards site to redeem any monthly rewards they are eligible for as well as learn how to score more points and increase their tier to earn even more rewards.

What kinds of rewards are available?

Cars, tokens and in-game credits Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport 4 are available as rewards. The exact quantity and types of rewards depend on a player’s Forza Tier. Turn 10 will continue to evaluate and add new types of rewards in the future.

What is Forza Tier?

A player’s Forza Tier is determined by his or her Forza Score. On the Forza Rewards site, a player can see how many Forza Score points they need to earn to be promoted to the next tier. In general, once earned, a player’s tier will not go down. Turn 10 will, however, continue to add higher tiers as additional scoring opportunities become available.

What is Forza Score?

Forza Score is the aggregate sum of all points earned by playing Forza. Points are earned for a variety of activities, ranging from earning Xbox Live Achievements to completing perfect passes within Forza games. For a full list of activities that earn points in each game, players can visit the Forza Rewards site and drill down on the individual games. The Score/Details toggle allows players to see how much of each activity needs to be completed to earn all available score. In general, points earned for any specific activity will not be lost. Turn 10 will, however, continue to add more available score through new activities.

What’s in store for Forza Rewards in the future?

We’re excited about integrating the Forza Rewards program more tightly with future Forza titles and will be adding new tiers, new rewards and additional scoring opportunities over time.
Forza Rewards is also the first piece of a significant overhaul coming to ForzaMotorsport.net in the Forza Motorsport 5 launch time frame.

Do I need to have an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to claim the rewards?

No, an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription is not required to claim rewards.

Can rewards be re-gifted?

No, rewards received through the program cannot be re-gifted.

If I have been banned in a Forza game, can I still get my rewards?

No, while banned users will be able through go through the redemption process on the Forza Rewards site, they will not receive their rewards in-game until their ban expires.

Why does the Forza Rewards site not accurately reflect my usage or purchases?

If you recently played a Forza game or purchased DLC/tokens, it usually takes up to 48 hours for that to reflect on the site. Note that all data does not update at once, so you may see recent usage reflect on the site before recent purchases and achievements are updated.

Also note that only online gameplay can be tracked so if you played offline, Forza Rewards will not reflect that gameplay.

How long do rewards take to be delivered in-game?

Rewards are typically delivered to the file depot in the message center within four hours. During peak periods, this delivery time may exceed this window.

Can I save up to use my points for future rewards?

The Forza Rewards system does not treat points as a currency and hence your Forza Score (the total of your points) does not decrease when you redeem rewards. As a result, the concept of saving up does not apply. Your Forza Score is instead used to determine your tier. The higher your tier, the better your monthly rewards are.

Can I redeem rewards from past months?

No, you can only redeem Forza Rewards for the current month.

When should I redeem my Reward?

There is no reason to wait to redeem your Reward. When you redeem your Reward you get to keep all your Forza Score points that you have earned. This means you can use your Forza Score points again the following reward period (currently 1 week) to redeem another Reward. If you go up a Tier during the week, you can redeem again the same week to get the extra rewards that new Tier brings.

Once I have redeemed my Rewards, how long do I have to claim them?

In Forza Motorsport 4, Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Horizon you have two weeks to read gift messages to get your reward. In Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Horizon 3, gift messages remain in your Message Center until you have read them.

Why do I not get the correct amount of credits?

Loyalty rewards are determined by your Forza Score, including all DLC and Tokens you have not purchased. This is also used to determine your Tier. However your weekly rewards are determined by your Forza Score, excluding any DLC and Tokens you have not purchased. To increase your weekly rewards you must either purchase the DLC and Tokens or increase your Forza Score.

How can I check the numbers of cars I own?

You can check the number of cars you own by going to FRIENDS COMPARE from the REWARDS menu. Select the game you want to check, click on CARS OWNED then click on DETAILS.

Why don’t the all the miles I have driven in Forza Horizon count towards my Forza Score?

Only the distance driven during races count for Forza Rewards. You can check your Distance Driven from the Records page of My Profile → Stats, but this is the combined total of distance driven during races and distance driven around the map. In Forza Horizon what counts as a Perfect Pass?

A Perfect Pass is an Ultimate Pass Skill in Forza Horizon. You can check the number of Ultimate Pass Skills you have in Forza Horizon from the Skills page of My Profile → Stats.

Why haven’t I received my rewards in Forza Horizon 2 or Forza Horizon 2: Fast & Furious on the Xbox 360?

Forza Rewards benefits are only available in the Xbox One versions of Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Horizon 2: Fast & Furious. This means that Xbox 360 players will not receive Forza Rewards credits or cars. In addition, progress in the 360 version does not count towards your Forza Rewards Tier Level score. Only progress in the Xbox One version will count towards your overall Forza Score (and Tier Level) in Forza Rewards.

There’s something wrong, I am Tier 3 and I received 30,000 credits in FM4.

The Tiers stack.
Tier 2 + Tier 3 = 10,000+20,0000 = 30,000 credits.

That’s correct, thanks funky dunk 1977. I could show the totals for each tier, but when Forza Rewards started there were free cars so it made more sense to list what you got extra at each tier. I am Tier 5 so I only know what the total for Tier 5 is and what the extra reward for Tier 6 is, the rest is just guess work, although it appears I got the right pattern. I am hoping the reason we aren’t getting free cars at the moment is a technical issue and that when they get it sorted we will start getting free cars again.

No problem - easy enough to do the math, Guitar Lincoln obviously didn’t know that they stack. Very helpful of you to provide the list though.

As they say, all good things must come to an end.

I joined Forza Rewards in August 2013, with the launch of Xbox One and Forza Motorsport 5, and I have been claiming those sweet 500,000 credits every week since September 2018.

A new generation of consoles and games is upon us, and sadly the time has come for this nice little side benefit to end.

My first post in this thread was 7 years ago when the new forums launched, and this will probably be my last. So farewell and see you on the track in November.

How about FH2? Can anyone confirm if this is 1 month like FH or indefinite like FM5?

Also, if I’ve not yet played FH2 and I redeem the reward now, will the reward message be waiting for me when I first play the game?

I don’t have FH2 yet but I assume it will work like FM5. As for redeeming rewards ahead of getting FH2, it worked for FM5.

The Rewards page is now showing “/ 12,000 TOTAL PTS”.

Where’d the extra 500 pts come from?

From the Fast & Furious expansion.

Thanks ChelseaOilman, looks like the website is still to be updated as it wasn’t on that page today.

If you get rewarded a car in a game you don’t own and you can’t redeem it, will it go lost?

Once I have redeemed my Rewards, how long do I have to claim them?

In Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Horizon you have one month to read gift messages to get your reward. In Forza Motorsport 5 gift messages remain in your Message Center until you have read them.

So it depends on the game. I got several months worth of rewards when I first played FM5. Having said that, there hasn’t been a car rewarded in quite some time.

Yh. I miss my car rewards. Lol. Always pray for a car on horizon 2 when spinning the wheel. I’ve got more credits than I can spend. Although more is fine. But free cars are better. Lol.

Has it ever been explained why this is the case? I am glad I found the answer, but I had no idea why some games seemed to save all my rewards no matter how frequently I was checking, and other games would store them for infinity. I just realized I missed out on about 5 million in FM6. Guess it’s my fault for abandoning that game for FH3 back in September.

What is worse is you only have 2 weeks to claim gift cars in those games. I missed the Fallout 4 truck and Halo 5 cars in FM6 :frowning:

Forza Rewards were new for FM4 and Horizon, so I can understand their thinking that they want people to load up the game at least every couple of weeks. It was great that it changed for FM5 and Horizon 2. I was able to start both games with a pile of credits and gift cars. I don’t know why they went back to the two week limit with FM6, but I was pleased that was not the case for FH3.

i am tier 5 in fh4…so if i buy fm7 and simply load up a new game…save…i get up to level tier 5? until i get more tier say in fm7?

the answer is right there highlighted

These are one time rewards, which means you get the ones that are representing your current tier at the time you launch the game first time.
(unless something has changed recently and I’m not aware of this)
