Get the Forza news you can use int he Week in Review. This week johniwanna fills in for Mechberg in this early edition of the WIR. Catch the December DLC Clue Thread, the December Forza contest schedule, the latest Heavy Metal Affliction car care video and more.
Part of the “more” is a reverse scavenger hunt. Read the WIR for details and post your findings in this thread. The hunt ends on Monday and I will post the winners in Rear View Mirror on Monday.
Really liking the Reverse Scavenger Hunt Idea John…
This picture is taken on the Top Gear Test Track in the building directly approaching the last corner… Maybe a reference to the Top Gear Special Event from Forza Motorsport 4 where Cardboard London Landmarks were scattered around the track for you to knock over!!..
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday & are snagging great bargains during Black Friday!
I’m still cruisin’ around looking for interesting “reverse scavenger hunt” items, but thought I’d post a few here now.
As I find interesting items, I’ll be adding them to my Scavenger Hunt album on Imgur.
Looking forward to seeing what folks discover in their quests! Cool “finds” so far, everyone!
Good Luck, Everyone!

Here’s a troll face poster in a window of the large red building located on the final straight of Nurburgring Full Circuit (FM6).
Fun totem pole signage at Watkins Glen (FM6)
Here’s one of my favorite signs in FM6…photographed in Bernese Alps (does this make me a bad person? lol)
Could this be the “Light” Beer tent at Watkins Glen (FM6)?
The scavenger hunts (along with Club 1000) were my favorite events in Horizon 1. I was glad to see a return.
Here’s a few I found in Forza 6.
Road Atlanta
The Crazy Girl in Rio
The Crazy Girl in Prague
Prague Souvenirs and another The Crazy Girl (must be a chain)
Prague Fine Knives & Swords 1759… In the US we tear down most building older than 50 years.
Prague:
Prague (I had to reverse to get this shot. The first time the boat was nearly under the bridge)
It’s been a long time since I’ve shared a pic, so I’ve forgotten how, but this pic when you enter the above link into your browser will take you to a photo from Daytona that shows how much detail has gone into the making of FM6. The buildings behind the pit have many details, including this string of musical wall décor. LOVE IT!!!
GT: th3d0wnfa11
choice of DLC: F&F FH2 DLC
UPDATE: I figured out how to share through my FLICKR acct using the BBCODE however it is not working. If thread does not get locked I will work on updating it tomorrow. Hope it doesn’t kill my chances that I don’t have a photo…
UPDATE 2: Still not letting me snag the BBCODE from FLICKR. You can view the photo on FM6 by searching the name REVScavangeHunt. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone.
A few more from Prague, taking the reverse track. The details that have been put into the scenery in this game are fantastic. I am usually traveling at high rates of speeds during the races and have missed most of these. (My lap times suffered greatly, though, slowing down to take these pictures ) These are only a few of the shots I took.
These are all so cool! So glad you guys took the time to find some stuff. Everyone wins credits and I will announce the DLC winners in RVM later today. Keep posting cool stuff you find and we will feature some photos in coming weeks and I will keep gifting credits for cool finds.
