My Problem is that i wait at least 4 Minutes until Forza 7 is in the Main Menu. My Rekord was 12 Minutes! The intro is stuttering with picture and Sound and the most time i have only a blank black screen.
It is installed on a SSD and even single Races takes a very long time to load. Other Games works fine on the SSD and i reinstalled Forza 7 two times but nothing brings the solution.
I use Windows 10 64Bit on the latest Version and other Drivers like Graphics card (AMD R9 390) are the latest Versions. and i have only with Forza 7 such problems, even Horizon 3 loads faster and it is installed on a HDD!!!
I dont know what i can do more, im very disappointed about that.
Open up AMD Radeon Settings
Global Settings
Reset (to the far right side)
Shader Cache, Yes
Click on Shader Cache and disable it/turn it off
Start Forza 7. See if that speeds things up for you.
It helps with the Intro Stuttering but Loadingtimes still over 4 Minutes. After the Turn 10 Intro i have a black screen for at least 3 Minutes after that the Press Any Key Menu comes and after i hit a key it takes for about 1 minute to see the Main menu.
You are not the only one experiencing the black screen after the MS intro. Just before you get to the screen that shows the race car driver walking towards the silver Porsche you get a black screen that lasts a few moments (never timed it but should be less then a minute). That only started happening after the July 10th update.
I suggest that you turn off then unplug your modem and router(s) for 1 minute. Let them cycle back on (which might take a few minutes). See if that helps. As I get the impression during that time (as I checked and noticed no PC activity) that black screen maybe internet connected in some fashion. Then open up win10’s Services, scroll down to “Windows PushtoInstall Service” and start it. Then try Forza 7 again.
Side Note:
If you’ve disabled any MS Store or Xbox Services I suggest that you re-enable them.
The next time you get slow load time try Starting the game in Off Line mode and see if there is a difference if so try setting your Computers IP and your Router setting Manually for Xbox Live Port Forwarding Use google for Instructions and the required ports just Search for Port Forwarding Xbox, you can also try going to Settings on your Computer then Select Gaming and then Select the bottom tab called Xbox Networking then select Check or Check Again and see if NAT is OPEN if not select Fix It I find doing this works wonders for Xbox Games on the PC
New System old Problems.
Since 3 Days i have a new Ryzen 5 2600 with a B450 MSI Board and 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM but with my old AMD R9 390 (8GB).
My Problem is that it takes about 3 - 4 Minutes to start in the Game and another 3 Minutes only to load the Track.
I cant believe that this is going right
the Game is on a SSD (i tried 2 different SSD just to sort out that 1 is broken)
i turned off the Shader Cache in the Radeon Settings and clear the Shader Cache
i use a clean fresh install of Windows 10 64bit with all Updates
i reinstalled the game 2 times (because of trying 2 SSD)
i try online and offline Mode (no difference in the Time)
i only use Windows Defender (no other Antivir Software or something like that)
i only have the core of Programs installed that i need, no software that can make a problem in any situation with the game
i forwarded the ports for xbox live and all other stuff that FM7 needs to be open, i set a fix IP and turn the Teredo Filter off in the Fritz Box
another Problem ist that my NAT Typ is not open, it is Moderate, what i cant understand in case that all Ports are forwarded on a fixed IP!
i dont know what i can do more, for me the Game is not playable because my Mates who play the Game are a Decade earlier in the Game and some of them use a HDD.
i would appreciate it when someone of Turn 10 or Playground can take care for my Problem.
Try disabling Windows defender if you haven’t already. Worth a shot. Also check the system logs to see if you get any info there. Are you using any kind of windows preview build?
No Solution, only the Black Screen after the Turn 10 Intro to the Porsche Screen takes 2 Minutes
The Only Log that i found which were created in the gamestart is the following:
DllHost (7508,G,98) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.
i think i found the problem, i uninstalled the AMD R9 390 with DDU and only use the Driver who Windows installs and then it takes a little bit less than 2 Minutes.
I think its even to long but a half of my time with the actual Driver. what im asking is why nobody else write about this problem
