Forza Motorsport 7 Features Wish Lists

Ability to adjust the stiffness of the behind-car camera. I would like to be able to make it stiffer since it feels more responsive that way when driving with a wheel. (see Gran Turismo)

For the cars that are duplicates (IndyCars, NASCAR, GT cars) have the ability for liveries created to cover each of those duplicate cars. An example is when I wanted to stick the Alonso paint scheme on an IndyCar earlier this year, I had to find which of the Honda Indycars had that paint job available and buy the car just so I could have the livery. Maybe make it automatically share for all duplicates and give the creator an option to keep their livery just on that one car.

Allow painters to see all of the statistics for their liveries without having to dig through every livery in their system. My red nosed limo is my most popular paint job but it takes me 15 minutes just to find it while scrolling through liveries for every car I own and every livery Ive ever downloaded. Download numbers, useage numbers, rating. Give the same power to tuners as well.

Better perks for using the photo mode. I like how Horizon uses the photo mode to generate in game credits by encouraging you to photograph everything. While I love photographing in game by itself, giving it some sort of objective or credit bonus based on the number of cars shot, different locations, and combinations of each. Example: an achievement or credit bonus for taking a photo of one car at each track (not every variant, thats alot of uneeded loading screen time).

Spectator drones, just the cinematic uses alone would be excellent. Drift crews could have one person on a drone to film while 2 people tandem drift. Esports coverage would be aaaaaamazing as well.

Glass etching customize tire letters and customize interiors?

  • Passwords for layer groups, designs and tunes when uploading them to the storefront.
If you want to give them to select people you can give them the password and that way they can download them. Maybe folders with tunes, vinyl groups or liveries that you can access using the password you get. This would make it easier for teams to share their creations only between themselves and not everyone out there.

  • Favorites
The ability to create favorites folders. For cars and vinyl groups.

  • Addition of ā€œbody kitsā€ to muscle cars, example given being Trans Am style fender flares, and things of the like.
  • Better rear wings on muscle cars, like flat drag wings, or ducktail spoilers (sort of like the Rocket Bunny wings in FH3)
  • Mini Tub options in the upgrade section for wider tires on RWD cars.
  • Big Tire and Small Tire drag radials.
  • Customized Tires, such as whitewall, or raised white letter.
  • Drag racing suspension setup, adjustable, similar to Rally Suspension, but a separate upgrade.
  • Control Arm upgrades, such as drop spindles, extended control arms.
  • Steering Upgrades. (the idea is for adjustable Ackerman, for drift car steering angle)
  • Wheel offset, for stance and practicality when widening tires. (Wheel stretch would also be a cool feature, along with this)
  • Remove the limit on engine aspiration changes. Allow Twin/Single Turbo, PD Supercharger, or Procharger on any engine, within reason.
  • Remove the ridiculous V10 and V12 engine swaps into cars that don’t make sense. (a v10 Viper motor into a Dodge product makes sense)
  • Make engine swaps more realistic. The Chevy LS is popular and ends up in everything. Fine. But a Ford or Dodge should get engine options that correspond to the manufacturer. I should be able to put a 351 into a foxbody Mustang, or a 440 into a 426 Hemi car.
  • Include Stroker kits for engines in the conversion section, along with the aspiration and engine swap upgrades.
  • Allow for high horsepower numbers, but compensate with available upgrades to put that power to the ground.
  • Include the ability to adjust boost pressure to dial in horsepower numbers to your liking.
  • Include some engine tuning, like timing advance, carburetor or injector size, etc. Make tuning more than just maxing out every upgrade to get the fastest car.
  • Allow people to gift cars and credits. Hosting an event or specific race would be cool if there was a prize someone could win. A community pot would be cool for buy-in races also.

Very much agree!

Mod Edit - ā€˜Tire pressure on the fly’ thread merged - MM]
In Forza motorsports, you do not have the ability to change the tire pressure, when you make a pit stop. Please allow adjustments to the tires, because you want to be in the ā€œbutterā€ zone, 32.0 PSI; for instance, if you have a car that is running at a track that you set the tires to be at 27.5 pounds on all tires, you are looking at 31.9 pounds of air in the tires. The only way now is to go to settings, and change the heads up display settings to metric, then you adjust the tires to match the zone. You should be at 27.41 pounds, not at 27.5 pounds.

The ability to turn off the vignette effect around the corners of the screen. It looks like the faster you go, the more this effect is visible from the gameplay videos I’ve seen.

Big thing for me is specialty engines drag racing only, drifting only, and circuit only.

Who else would appreciate the game more if:

a) the camera perspective from 3rd person would be changeable to the original one instead of having the cam distracting the rider by going left to right in every corner?

b) if you could have the option to adjust the wide angle of any camera perspective (like in Assetto Corsa)

c) the steering would be customizable like in Project Cars. (At least having it adjustable like in Forza Horizon 3, I was missing that feature in Forza Motorsport Apex.

I wanna say that it’s always better to let the player be able to modify the gaming experience to his needs instead of having a one-for-all preset.
I’d love to hear some opinions about my ideas.

FROM F6 , more car limit, more save tune limit, more save replay limit (10 is way to small)

My big dream is:
You can choose the driving side of the car as in test drive unlimited

It’s rather annoying that I have to go to the car setup editor in order to see even just the 0-60 time.

Stats like ā€œspeedā€ and ā€œaccelerationā€ are hardly of any use. Particularly when you have a bunch of cars with values of 10, you get absolutely 0 information out of it. Which is fastest in a drag race when they all have 10 acceleration? I’d like to see the car’s:

  • estimated top speed
  • estimated 0-60 MPH
  • estimated 1/4 mile time
  • estimated lateral Gs @ 60 MPH
Just say ā€œest.ā€ in front of these things, so people don’t confuse what is a conservative estimate coming from the software for the real performance observed in practice.

Even official car manufacturer data can underestimate a car’s performance.

I watched Goodwood FOS on this weekend and I think it would be great to see it in Forza even as a DLC

Turn10 please want to return forza stats for force 7,
it was the site where we could see the world classification,
they are told a SMX that is alive from forza 3,
who agrees to return forza returns stats again

weather and night options for all tracks if possible and more freedom and options in freeplay mode like what cars are in races, multi class races, we should have the freedom to set up races how we want them, maybe we could have some kind of forzathon as well

Other than the drag racing things I’ve always talked about, I would love to see ā€œcurrent eventā€ tab. There’s a great many of us that participate in community based tuning and Hot lap challenges that take place on specific tracks with specific cars. I think it would be awesome to have a spot in the menu for such things to keep from having to search for a specific car or track every time while testing/tuning/hotlapping.

For example, the HLR guys are hosting an HOC on Silverstone National (rain). B Class with no cars in the top 150 at the beginning of the comp. Now one has to search for eligible cars, search for the track and repeat for every new attempt it tune. If the was a spot to select the track, the eligible cars, and keep everything relavent all in one folder or spot it could be much easier to keep track of everything that’s been done, tested tunes and best laps to date.

I picture it being maybe a lot like the blueprint feature in Horizon, only with maybe a separate leaderboard for THAT event or competition.

And while I’m here:

  • Proper drag tire/rim packages
  • drag chassis upgrades
  • drag trans upgrades with trans brake
  • working staging with tree
  • 1/8th and 1/4 mile tracks with working test drive
  • tunable engines (timing, fuel, boost, etc)
  • Drag engines, mountain motor big blocks, 572’s and 632’s or bigger, there should be V8’s that produce as much or more power than these ridiculous V12 swaps produce.
  • working NOS(not NFS nos)

My features wishlist for FM7:

  • More license bodykits and not only Liberty Walks, Rocket Bunny and RWB, also Veilside, RE-Amemiya etc. should be added
  • make racing kits for a great number of cars, some of which have racecar versions for the bodykits already already, for some cars T10 could model something on their own
  • engine swaps: please remove the posibility to put an V12 and V10 in almost every car, that was so stupid in FH3 that there were so much V12 AWD lightweight cars in every online adventure, in older Forza games you could only swap engines from the same brand or generally better fitting engines, I’m okay that most cars are able to get an V8, there are enough real life BMW M3, Skylines, RX-7 with LT-1 swaps but the Lambo V12 is ridicolous…
  • give time penalties for shortcutting, intentional ramming etc. in any online racing
  • some minor work on the balancing (in previous games you could easy make up a bad handling car with alot of power which was op at times)

I must agree in a big way on engines that produce the same power at minimum as the v12 swaps. The only way to get the most power recently is the twin turbo v12 swap. Every car and even truck sounds like a lambo now. People always come into my house and ask why does that american muscle car sound like a lambo and I must explain how true v8s, even built all the way in the game, are ridiculously slow. Even the I6TT is slower than it could be. Can we get some reference of I6 and V8 builds from The Texas Mile so more variations of motors have the same capabilities instead of this 1 and done most powerful engine?!

  • Returning auction house
  • Returning gift car option
  • Body kits are coachbuilds for vintage cars (E.G. the GT Breadvan if you do finally plan to put the 250 SWB into the franchise)
  • Age-resemblant tires (all cars can have slicks as race tires, sports tires are vintage racing tires on car from 1976 and earlier, street tires are comfort tires in the same age catagory, by comfort tires I mean the ones on the 250 Lusso and Alfa Giulia GTA)
  • Tire modifications don’t boost your PI stats by a mile, it’s one of the hings I hated about Horizon 3, I have an NA8 MX5 with 300HP and sport tires, yet it’s A-Class…
  • Classics only multiplayer lobbies
  • Mods returning (I’m very fond of my crew chief and boosts)
  • The same ā€œautoshowā€ idea
  • Ability to change backgrounds, and more than 2 backgrounds
  • I presume I don’t have to ask this, but I will anyway just to be safe: return of the photography option
  • Toggle weather, not all people like rain, especially the Dutch are not fond of it
  • Car football, I thought it was hilarious to see all those Aygos and Cee’ds pushing a ball into a goal and them getting absolutely knackered (I mean European football, not American football, because I know they’ve done that too, soccer, is what I mean)
  • Interior view that allows you to see both you wing mirrors and interior mirror completely when in first person mode
  • Lobby creator, kinda like Forza Horizon 1
  • Anti-lag for turbocharged cars, when selecting the race turbo, you can go to the ā€œtune carā€ menu and go to turbo settings so you can give your car anti-lag, would make drag racing very interesting
  • The Forza Motorsport 3 ā€œseasonsā€ campaign style
  • The old F < E < D < C < B < A < S < R2 < R1 < X PI system from Motorsport 1-4
  • Sell cars, this is how I managed to buy the majority of cars in Horizon 1
  • Blueprint Championships like in Horizon 3, using this I did the majority of the races with classics like the Jag Mk.II, DB5 and plenty of others
  • The ability to choose between wheels of car manufactures (optional wheels, like choosing between the colours and the 5-spoke or multi-spoke options on cars like the McLaren 650s
  • Ability to play the game at the old 1080p engine if you have the old 500GB Xbox One and don’t have enough money to get a new console. I would appreciate it very much if it’s not only for PC and Xbox One S, but also for the regular Xbox One
  • Older racetracks that don’t (officially) exsist anymore like the Nürburgring with Südschleife or the Brooklands circuit

It’s a massive list, I know, but it’s all need for the game to be (in my opinion) perfect.
