Pass yes. But sick of turn 10 and how far they have their headers up their oil pans. No. This is a horrible customer service company… Probably hate working for them…
The Subaru 360, VW Type 3 and Citroen 2CV.
You really aren’t allowed to dislike certain cars on this forum, you just end up getting attacked for your opinion from people who just so happen to dislike the cars you like, hypocrisy at its finest.
I’ve gotten something from all the car packs, and I’ve put 468 hours into the game, much of that with DLC cars. I would say I’ve definitely got my money’s worth.
I’m going to just about lean towards no. I like to drive a wide range of cars, so not particularly against the inclusion of any type of vehicle in the car pass per se, but the sheer amount of SUV’s, offroad vehicles and oddball cars is just way too high for me, and the lack of Hypercars, Touring Cars and only a few GT cars means I’m going to have to say no.
I did it and am happy. The Greenwood Corvette and Group 44 Jag sealed it for me. I have driven the SUVs and they are at least a way to pass the time. This is a game. nothing more nothing less. Some folks get all twisted up over it. Not me. I enjoy it for what it is - a way to pass the time. I do get frustrated in teh races sometimes. Easy enough - tune the car or turn down the difficulty. If I’m so far off the pace I can’t win, then turn down difficulty.
But the car packs allowed me to have some cars I can’t have and that I really want. So I’m happy. Probably never drive the 2CV - I had enough of it in GT4 or Toca or whatever game that was. My youngest son loves the supercars, so he’ll enjoy those.
I do need to take the Lincoln out for a run though… Where are the Buicks??? Like a Park Avenue?? One from every decade. LOL
One thing that I found interesting with the Car Pass contents was that there wasn’t a single car with a model year between 1998 and 2014.
Has every “interesting” road and race car from that era already been added to Forza Motorsport?
Outside of some big-name open-wheel race cars (Mid 2000s era Formula 1 cars etc.) I can’t think of anything that’s {a} not in a Forza title and {b} interesting enough to warrant attention.
It would make sense if the time between FM1 (2005) and FM6 (2015) already had most interesting cars added, with FM1 going back toward the late 90s for a starting list. Perhaps after observing what was popular in Gran Turismo and other games.
Some of the 2017 and 2018 cars post-date the last FH3 DLC, while others maybe were too track focused for a Horizon title, or weren’t finished in time. Aside from that were a lot of older race cars and quirky stuff, all of which I’ve enjoyed driving.
In FM6’s list the most requested new-to-Forza from that era was the Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, Toyota Chaser, Cobra Terminator, and Ferrari F2004.
Damn, we need a Cobra Terminator.
No it most certainly was not worth of it. There was 1 car that was ok and that was the Corvette.
I’d say every car pack so far was mostly worth it. That dorito pack though… makes me sick just thinking about it.
However, I do use pretty much all of the cars in the packs (or at least plan to), excluding the suvs and offroaders. Although that’d change if there was an offroad expansion. So yes, I think it was worth it.
Nope and will be the last car pass I ever buy . I probably won’t be buying F8 either after F7 . I don’t even play it anymore and that says allot cause I’m addicted to the paint booth. If the game sucks and painting cool cars to not use because of the broken mess of a game then I don’t paint . Sad really but oh well if they don’t care why should I ?
Yesterday morning, I would’ve said it wasn’t even close to worth it, but given yesterday’s announcement that the car pass would be extended by another two Car Packs along with the Hoonigan pack for those who didn’t have it already (see the Inside Xbox video), I’m now sat on the fence. I pre-ordered the ultimate edition on disc as I have for every other Forza where such a thing exists, and the limited editions before those, and was extremely disappointed that only those who pre-ordered digitally got the Hoonigan pack, but at least they’ve rectified that now (or will do next month). As far as the DLCs we’ve got so far go, I’ve been pleased with about 20% of the cars, which is honestly about what I would expect. A car pass sets you up for disappointment (I say this and yet I never learn lmao), but at least we’ve now got two more Car Pass packs to look forward to.
I was in the no camp. But credit where it’s due, can’t argue with 8 car packs for the price of the car pass. I’d say its worth it.
2 more free Car Packs (+ Hoonigan) is an unexpected but welcome announcement from last night.
Kudos to Turn 10 and Microsoft for adding more value to the Car Pass.
So basically it is 9 car packs (6 we already have, 2 to come and Hoonigan) for 30€/$ which means that you are getting 63 cars for that price. Amazing value in my opinion
Although I already own the Hoonigan pack the additional two packs are a welcome news. I don’t think we’ll see one in this month but I can live with this.
Being a Forza fan for many years and being someone who normally pre-orders the deluxe version to have all the extras including the car pass I have to say although I am really enjoying Forza 7 gameplay and the way it all works but the car selection is getting poor, each new car pack seems to be more boring than the last so my answer is no the car pass was not worth it.
For me, the car pass is always worth it. By saying No, you basically say that you’d either NOT buy the car pass at all or that you’re rather spend MORE money by buying each pack individually. Remember, the first 6 MONTHLY packs combined are cheaper whe you buy through the Car Pass. Even if the car packs end up being cars you don’t want.
Like the amusement park commercials say, “There’s something FOR EVERYONE.”
Wow a lot of hate towards the SUV but i found them to be a lot of fun in Free play All you do is supe up a Landcruiser to max PI and man is it ever a wild ride or some other SUV Lots to choose from.
Now you have your suped up Massive SUV and then you set up a 10 lap race againts micro cars smaller and lighter the better, I see some of you know where this is going, Starting at the back of the pack you ram you way to the front seeing just how far you can punt a micro car, You do this for 2 or 3 laps and then turn arround and head the wrong way hitting micro cars head on flat out and try your best to punt them off the track and over a fence,
For even more fun see how many you can knock in to the pit lane or over the pit wall, The SUV’s have supplied hours of demolition derby style racing give it a go and enjoy your SUV’s to the max.
PS while this is a great deal of fun in free play keep it out of MP please…
