Indeed, the core is very good. It’s the package that’s the issue. I love building and tuning cars. I don’t love feeling lost because I really don’t have an outlet to use them or can’t bank on having some good competitive racing at almost any hour of the day. Forza was my white knuckle game and shooters and such were my goof off games.
I also don’t like seeing everyone one of my friends leave or real life friends who try the game, like it at first, then put it on the shelf forever after getting tired of being wrecked. One of my real life friends was catching on quick. The first car he tuned ran a top 50 in my hands and top 400 in his. The game pissed him off before he could really show off some talent. The dude was on the verge of becoming crazy good.
I love Forza. I came to the franchise from Horizon 2 - yes, late, very late. I’ve also only just discovered the forum last month, late again!!! From the comments it does sound like FM6 and the community has some problems. But hey, you keep coming back. I will seek out these private lobbies, there are enough invitations. I’ll also keep up league racing. The only thing I’m not into atm is the photography, everything else is incredible. That’s not to say that feedback isn’t needed. Progress is made by listening to the people that play. There has been criticism that T10 do not respond to the forum. I can’t believe they ignore it. So we should keep posting comments, feedback and requests. We should also keep enjoying our racing.
Brown-nosing is pointless. You think if you kiss up enough that they’ll make a FM7. I got news for you, they’ll make a FM7 regardless if we suck up or not. As a business, making moola is their number 1 priority. If we ignore what is wrong and praise them without reason, they’ll think that they don’t have to change anything and just copy/paste/reskin FM7. Hold their feet to the fire and things will change, otherwise they’ll turn into another EA. Me, I have a list of shtuff that needs to be updated for FM7.
Fix the understeering GTR or give AWD cars a lower PI
Revamp car purchasing system like I recommended and is buried in the Features thread.

Give us an updated wheel selection…DUB rims? Is it 2003?
Plenty of groups always looking for clean racers, the ‘Racers Lounge’ has groups all the time looking to take people on. I run the ICR one, on sat nights we do Blancpain, Sunday we do V8 Supercars, and when that finishes we are going to do multi class IMSA. So lots going on.
