2 good updates, but a lot of ‘new’ cars. Still happy they return though.
The winter stadium looks fun! As does the Community Update. Looking forward to February to see the drift stadium and new cars in that update. Perhaps also drift themed??
Lykan, Spano and 340R are my favourite returning cars this time. Spano drift tires S1! Should have low enough mechanical grip to be possible.
So, the Porsche 906 and the Jaguar are returning autoshow cars? Or forzathon shop only in series 29? I missed that.
Loving the car pack, TBH. Wondering if the second secret Santa silhouette is the coveted cobra terminator….
Edit: actually, did they say that new stadium circuit was permanent? Or series only?

Edith: That snow handling track in the stadium seems to be a permanent race like the oval. If I got it correctly.

Actually a pretty solid update. I’m more inclined to say Series 28 is stronger than Series 29, mostly because I think the GTA Spano and the Lykan are hideous and I would rather have seen the return of the CCXR Edition over the standard model. Other than that though, lots of cars finally leaving my wishlist and making their way back into the game. No complaints there.
The Fast X car pack is a nice surprise, but it feels six months too late. Why was this not released in May alongside the movie? The only updates in May were the Speedway update and the Overlanding update, so its not like there another licensed tie-in getting in the way. Also, the pack leaves out the best car from the movie. Han’s Alfa. Criminal omission there. Also, also, I get omitting the Flip Car’s flipping capability to prevent griefing in online events, but at the same time, what’s the point of adding the Flip Car if you can’t flip anyone with it. That’s like adding the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile and removing the hot dog. It’s the main party piece.

Another 40 point month…disgusting.
I am happy with the 8 additional cars, but please take advantage of the Season Championship, Event Lab, Forzathon Shop, these contents instead of trying to force us to do more chores and exploit our time.

The car packs seem to be a bit controversial for some players, but I love them. Gives me a chance to tune something new.

First one I will skip unless there is a hidden gem among them when tuned. Only interested in the Charger Red Eye but given how awful the Hellcat Charger is I’ll wait for reviews.
The Flip Car gives Bone Shaker & Trak-Tor wipes - I hope it’s not.

You’re being a little silly for acting like this game is lacking in JDM. That’s probably literally the most common category of car in the game next to super cars.

Fast X car pack was not on my bingo card for this update, at all. It’s definitely interesting.
The classic Charger is cool, and this is probably my favorite version of it. The addition of a '66 Impala is cool, even outside of the context of the film. That 240Z is just awesome, I fell in love with that car as soon as I saw it on screen. I wonder if it will feature the RB26 it was said to have in the movie, or the Chevy small-block V8 it actually had IRL. It’s also nice to get a modern Charger considering the last we got was the OG Hellcat from 2015. The flip car will probably be hilariously uncompetitive but will likely be a fun car to mess around with.
Edit: Wait, the flip car doesn’t actually do what it does in the film? You can’t actually flip cars with it? That’s kind of pointless. @Runoff1999’s Weinermobile analogy is spot on.
Thank god the cars in Fast X were good, because I thought the movie itself was completely terrible. To think the first one was street racers hijacking DVD players off semi trucks.
As for the rest of the update, it’s slightly above average. The new BRZ and G.M.A T.50 are fantastic additions, and the Morgan is nice to have back. It’s great to see Lotus get some cars back, but I would’ve chosen different ones for sure. Why they chose the 340R instead of the Evora is beyond me.
