Should not be a problem but good to have options I guess and is one way to flood the Support sections with 1001 questions of why wont my Game ???
And I am replacing my Oldish 1080P HD TV with a new one in a couple of weeks so will get to see the 4K HDR thing people are on About but as long as I can get 30FPS at 2K or perhaps this 4K will be happy and is good to know that the game requires less to run performance wise.
Guessing MY NUC will rock the game nicely.
Intel Core i7-8809G 3.1GHz (up to 4.2GHz Turbo)
2x 16GB DDR4 2400+ SODIMMs
Radeon RX Vega M GH 1063-1190MHz GPU, 800MHz Memory 4GB
512 GB M.2 SATA SSD Operating System and Apps
1TB M.2 SATA SSD Game’s only Windows and Steam
4 TB External Hard drive USB-C for Photos and Back up files
And at a gues I would say the bit about going past ultra will be things like slightly smaller pollys and less Jaggies Or more Reflection things you can step upon a PC but not a Console.
Well lets see Ultra @ 1080 30 Fps I would say yep go for it getting up to 60fps @1080 Ultra should manage all depends on CPU management, now then 4K 30 FPS at ultra should manage it 4K at 60 now ya o pushing it a bit
But you should get slightly better performance from Horizon 4 than you do from Horizon 3 from what info I have seen.
So it depends Ultra at 1080 I would say yes Ultra at 4K Your in the ball park but as ther are many things impacting performance on a PC you wont know till the Demo drops for sure
Oh, really? That’s strange, considering I play both at 4K ultra, 60fps with ‘only’ 16gb RAM.
Oh and on FM7 I also use 200% resolution scaling. And with tabs open on Chrome. And several apps and programs open in the background. So tell me more about how 16gb isn’t enough?
Oh come on really what ales you got running I have 32 gig and hardly ever hit over 12gig when running any game
16 gig is heaps to run almost any AAA game on the market could have saved me self $250 by just going with 16 gig but well I figured it wont hurt to have a tad extra in the tank.
This set up runs Horizon 3 and Forza 7 with out a problem

So I have an MSI Aegis with i5-6400 @ 3,2GHz, Gtx 1060 6gb and 16gb ram, yet FH3 stuttered on my rig. Optimization problems?
Also the FH4 optimization should be better.
But could my rig run H4?
I hope (I know it is pointless) to see DX12 mGPU support, as Microsoft did announce so much and very few games did it (Gears of War 4 did it very well). I have no doubt my PC will run it pretty well:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
ASUS Crosshair VII Hero Wi-Fi
2x16gb G.Skill TridentZ 3200Mhz CL14
SLI - EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti SuperClocked
Samsung 970 EVO NVME SSD.
Big questions for designers, Is it really needed with cards like the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 why put money and man hours in to supporting Dual GPU Cards when just 1 will do the same.
With the newer cards SLI and CrossFire are not really needed for gaming.
And may never be again with the current tech unless you are doing rendering and post processing of videos I see no advantage in either system now days.
GPU cards are at the stage where they can display 4K with a high frame rate of over 60FPS, FPS will top out at about 120 for most users with a resolution of 4K and up Depending on monitor setups and the like.
Most likely GPU developers will begin to work on more steady frame rates of 120 FPS at the next Super HD setting for VR as GPU’s are now at the stage where if they push over 120fps gamers start to get motion sickness and other effects from the Display being to real or over real.
I’ve never known a sequel to not require more horsepower, I’d think if your current setup plays fh3 on ultra, it’s probably have to be lowered for fh4. I gave up on the PC upgrades quite awhile ago, just went console, less hassle after learning to use a controller.
I have fh3 and fm7. my pc seem to run these fine in 4k. but, not sure fh4.
my spec:
i7 6850k OC at 4.4ghz
64gb ram running at 3000mhz
a pair of gigabyte xtreme gaming 1070 in sli
Bonus I’m good and above Recommended specks. Where is the Demo
