Forza Horizon 4 cannot get past splash screen.

The game was already running badly since the latest patch. Crashing to desktop, frequently during Forzathon. So I decided to go ahead and reinstall it.

After reinstalling and rebooting the computer, the game will no longer load past the splash screen. It quits out immediately to the desktop now. Every time. Another reinstall, nothing. I’ve attempted the steps in the faq, nothing. I’ve contacted support, but as of yet nothing. I’d like to know if anyone else has had this issue, and if they have any ideas how to fix it.

As luck would have it, I’ve just been contacted by Turn10, so hopefully we will have a solution soon…

Same problem here. Yesterday after about 50-60 attemps i got the game to launch. But today, after countless attemps at getting the game to run, still no luck. It won’t launch.
