I think the OP is referring to the convoy/“team” cars that appear and follow you around. I’m trying to figure out how to get rid of them too (without teleporting back to the Horizon garage). They seem to show up after you have used the horn.
You can disband the convoy by using Anna.

You can also use the pause menu. There should be an option to disband convoy.
