I’ve noticed my name (Jayce or the other way of spelling it Jace) isn’t on the game be there’s a lot of names that I’ve never heard before but I don’t know iforget it’s just the demo and there be more in the actual game if not please add it.
I was so satisfied when I saw my name, Liam. “Great, I’ll call you Liam”

Strange and sad as i seen some uncommon names…
Out of curiosity, i checked demo videos in other languages and names seem to be linked to localisation (i’ve checked german and french and names are definitely different for most)
I would say that maybe you could find your name changing localisation but i assume it’s not that simple and i doubt you could find it elsewhere (and in anyway, i doubt you could keep in changing back to your localisation as they are linked to audio localisation…
Just use twinkle toes?

Isn’t Jace just short for Jason (which is included)?
What I found odd is that the nickname section includes Clark AND Clarke, with both pronounced exactly the same.

It’s also written as text when you switch on subtitles so that’s probably why.
My real name (Ivan) is in the list as well, I’m happy. 
I only played 1 other game before where there were a lot of spoken names but mine wasn’t in there. I think it was an RPG, Oblivion or Skyrim or something.
Some pronounciation analogues (like the aforementioned Clark and Clarke) are present, but Clyde is missing from the game. Oh, well… Guess I’ll go by my real name (which is present in two linguistic variations and THREE different shorthands! Again, PG shows how much they care about me!).
I wonder if your resident Betty will have her vocabulary extended during FH3’s lifetime? Kinda like how in Fallout 4 Codsworth-the-robot-butler had a slew of new names added to its name-reckognition feature added via a patch.

what do people think of the nicknames in the game? for me thrasher or spider is the best but a lot of them sound ridiculous i know some of them are meant to others not so much for me my name is chris so there is 3 variants of my name in it
i must admit in the nickname department i am extremely surprised there are not about half a dozen mad max references in there
‘Ashley’ is listed under ‘Female’ names.
This must be why the guys at customs in Australia laughed at my passport when I was there!

i think it can be either but Ash is more a guys name than Ashley i think at least over here but again it could be either
At least two of my friends list have found their names in the female section when they are male. lol. Lots of names are for either so if you can’t find your name it pays to look in both sections.
My fave nickname is probably Bantasaurus Rex, but only because it reminds me of the idiot headmaster in Bad Education! lol
Change your birth name to El Pollo Diablo, and then you’re sorted.

My name is Dante and it’s not common at all where I live so I was very happy/surprised when I found out it was in Horizon 3 because I can never find my name anywhere whether it’s in games or on those mugs or keychains with people’s names on them, But I know exactly how the people who don’t have their name in the game feel, hopefully, there’s more in the final game or a patch/update that add more in.
My name is Calum but they have Callum in there so I don’t really mind, but I like to set my name to brah xD
I really, really wish there was an option for blank, ie no name. I really don’t like this personalization. Not necessary for me. I really shouldn’t be that big of a deal to add the name - as a choice.
btw, I really hate Warren and all his friend’s constant banter and their constant pestering of me. We can turn off the GPS lady, why can’t we turn off the others?
And yes, this was almost a deal breaker for me when I ran into this in the demo.
You can choose “Boss.” That’s what they call you half the time anyway, so it’s sort of like not picking a name at all.
What are you talking about, pestering? There is almost nothing but fun jokes, none being rude or offensive, Warren, when he isn’t shouting in the beginning of the Demo, seems very laid back and friendly, and Keira is MUCH BETTER, A MILLION TIMES BETTER than Ben. The name personalization is just an added feature to cement that this game is about US.
