I got a shock when it first called me by my name. I had no issue with it, I was just surprised there was voice for the name in the game. I changed it to Spanky, like with FH4, because that name is ridiculous. I am not sure why the game would be calling you incorrectly if your account has no Farid anywhere. Are you on Steam or Console?

Maybe Anna is a comedian… Eric Morecombe would get a big laugh out of that!

Sorry, hate to be Mr Spelling (well, not really), but it’s Morecambe after the bay. Perhaps this is all due to the script what Ernie wrote.

I would prefer to not be addressed by any name.

having the same issue, anybody know how to fix?

I turned the garbage (not what I really wanted to call it) off. Then it doesn’t bother me at all.

A bit off topic, but I was so shocked when they said my name correctly, even though most people I know pronounce it incorrectly.

Then I remembered that this game is made in the UK, where my name is common, and not in North America, where my name is uncommon even though it’s where I was born and raised.

See if you can guess what my name is!

Yeah that’s turned off as is subtitles. It’s probably great for people that only play for a week or two but otherwise I found the repetitive contents of the speech off-putting, not to mention the regional diction. Radio DJs also turned off as is the radio volume for the same reason.

@TheWarmWind76 ,

Ok, I’ll take a crack at your name, George.

George is a pretty common name, at least here in Canada it is.

I was mostly joking with the challenge. Part of the reason why I posted it in the first place is because it’s nearly impossible to guess.

In the spirit of fair play though, I’ll give you a clue. Just because it’s a common name in the UK doesn’t mean it’s a common name in England.

Well then, I’ll take a shot at Oliver. And ask if got at least in right half of the alphabet?

Hang on a tic… maybe I missed the declaration but before going with the obvious majority possibilities, are we sure your name identifies primarily as masculine ? Or could it be feminine or even bi ? Not that I have much of a guess yet anyway even if narrowed down

A quick glance at the names lead me to Kieran or Liam. Unless I’m sticking to the gaming stereotype and you’re a Siobhan.

Hywel? Gareth? Llewellyn? McTavish?

All good guesses, but no. And to others, I’m cisgender male (meaning my self image matches my biological anatomy). I was given my name at birth.

Another clue would be that the name is in the Forza database and pronounced correctly, but I feel this had gone too far already. I’ll play along and tell someone if they get it right, but I’m not exactly eager to give out personal information on the internet.

This thread has inspired me to change my name to Spanky.

In the spirit of my 1st reply, you should be Harry Kane.

If I were to try to guess your actual name, logic would suggest an Irish/Gaelic derived one such as Seamus or Eoghan. My favorite personal failure was a woman named Naimh, which I pronounced Name-me rather than Neeve.
