Extras: Tokens
Forum: discussion thread
Available: December 17, 2016
Tokens are a DLC accelerator used for buying cars and upgrades in lieu of credits. A “T” icon in the Autoshow below the Credit value shows the equivalent value in Tokens. The conversion rate is 1 Token = 500 Credits (slightly less for upgrades), so a car valued at 50,000 credits is worth 100 tokens. Selecting the car or upgrade basket prompts a choice between using your available credits or tokens.
Tokens are purchased in packs of 100 ($1) up to 20,000 ($99). Token packs are consumable by gamertag; they are not sharable with guest accounts on a Gold member’s console, and once used, they cannot be restored by resetting the gamesave.
Using tokens is not required, and the icons and prompts can be turned off by going to the Pause / Marketplace / Extras menu and selecting “Disable Tokens” (helpful in preventing grabby guests or children from inadvertently spending your tokens).

[UPDATE 1/6/17 10:18 a.m. Pacific] – The latest version of the Forza Horizon 3 PC update is now available. This version (1.0.39.2) includes the Rockstar Energy Car Pack content. Apologies to all our PC players who were eagerly awaiting this update and thank you for your continued patience.

[UPDATE 1/5/17 10:45 a.m. Pacific] – The team is preparing the new version of the latest update for the PC version of FH3, which will include the Rockstar Energy Car Pack. While I don’t yet have an exact ETA of when this update will be available, I’m hoping it will be as early as tomorrow. As soon as the new version is available, I’ll update this thread accordingly. Thanks for your patience.

[UPDATE: 1:30 p.m. Pacific] - A few updates for you:
The incorrect PC version of FH3 has now been removed and replaced. PC players who have the FH3 version ending with .37.2 should immediately uninstall that version of the game, then re-install. The correct playable version should end in .35.2.
NOTE: PC players who completed the download of .37.2 and then started a new game save will have a corrupted saved game. Avoid creating a new saved game on .37.2, and only play on .35.2 to avoid this issue. As long as you have an existing save and have not created a new one on .37.2, your saved game will work correctly once the update is available.
As a reminder, you can check your version number on the launch screen where you sign in.

Hi folks,
We are aware of an issue with PC players being required to download the full version of FH3. While we investigate the cause and a fix, we are recommending that PC players cancel their current downloads of this FH3 update, as players who download this update will likely need to re-download the game again once the fix is in place.
More updates as they become available.
Thanks,
Brian

Content update - January 12
Version 1.0.41
181 MB (console)
Discussion thread.
Observed changes:
Added the #75 Subaru that was intended for Forzathon 1/6-1/9 as described in the Week in Review.
Horizon Promo count is now 469.
Wheelspin purchase price increased from 50k to 70,000 credits
Earlier today we were made aware of an issue with the “Shake, Rally and Roll” #Forzathon event; specifically where players were completing the challenge but were not receiving the Subaru rewards car. The team is aware of this and, while this event will unfortunately not be fixed this weekend, we will provide players with additional chances to earn that Subaru reward car in an upcoming #Forzathon event. We’d like to apologize to everyone who has run into this issue and we look forward to offering additional chances for players to earn this car in the future.
Mechberg:
Hi all,
Today we launched an update for Forza Horizon 3 on both Xbox One and Windows 10, which fixes an issue with the “Shake, Rally & Roll” #Forzathon event from last week, where players who completed the event were not receiving the Subaru rewards car. With this update, players who previously completed this event should receive their Subaru rewards car. Note that, as stated in last week’s edition of the Week in Review, we will be giving players additional chances to earn that Subaru rewards car via upcoming #Forzathon events in the future. Look for more details soon.

JONK1969:
This update specifically fixes the problem players were having being stuck on the buy Hot Wheels screen after the introduction video played. This should be fixed now.
The issue of not being able to play Blizzard Mountain or the game since the Hot Wheels update is unrelated, and is actively being investigated by Turn 10, Playground, and Windows teams with the highest priority.

End of Life Announced for 9/27/2020
A heads up for the Forza community: Forza Horizon 3 will reach ‘end of life’ status on September 27 . That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase. After September 27, players who own Forza Horizon 3 will still be able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal. However, Forza Horizon 3 and its DLC will no longer be for sale.

Playing Forza Horizon 4 now a long time and loving it.
Wanted to buy Forza Horizon 3 now, because I think it also looks very good.
Well, I tried to buy. But I can’t…
Because the game has reached its “End of Life” ??? What?
This is so stupid. Microsoft, take my money already!

So now there’s no way to buy/install/play FH3 at all? I see some places that have am FH3 disc for sale for Xbox/PC. Would those work? I obviously already have an XBL account. Is there any way at all to do it?

Can I still get FH3 for PC somewhere, anywhere? I would really like to play this. I can still find it for Xbox so I may have to use my Grandsons console to play it but I would definitely prefer PC.
Digital version + digital DLC should work as usual.
Can I still download and play dlc in forza horizon 3 today
