Forza Horizon 2 - Achievement List

I’ve updated the first post with the Xbox 360 version list and comparison.

A few possible grinding achievements but nothing hard. I liked FH1 career and it looks like this one is long based on number of championships. Curious to see the community reviews for it. Career is the only selling point for me in this series.

So are there less wristbands in FH2? :frowning:

There are two challenges at launch:

  • “Building up a collection” - Buy 20 Cars this month
  • “Road Trip with Friends” - Complete 10 Road Trips with Friends this month

I’m US Military stationed in Japan. All of my Horizon 2 achievements are in Japanese on my Xbox One. All console settings are US/English. I’ve never had this problem with any other titles.

How do I get English Achievements?!

Complete all 168 Championships Acheievement?
Do you have to beat them all at every location or just 168 in total? If it’s at every location that is the most absurd achievement I’ve seen in a really long time. I really enjoy this game and wouldn’t mind getting 1000gs for it, but [Mod Edit - profanity is not allowed - MM ]

Old post but not answered that I can see.

Its 28 championships at 6 locations.

And yes it gets repetitive.

Can you help me my game has done stone cold skiller but not come its saying 98% but i unlock all the perks 65 them thanks you can you help reply

First off, I’d just like to say, this game is awesome. Can’t pull the controller out of my hands when I get on it! The only problem I seem to be having is that my Stone Cold Skiller achievement is stuck at 98% after unlocking all the perks. Anyone know a fix for this?

I’ve searched Google and this site for any other problems like this, and I’ve found a couple, but there hasn’t been a reply to them. Just like to know if there’s a simple solution, or if T10 know about it.

Thanks for any help.

Somehow the achievment for getting the golden wristband dont unlock for me , the achievment is showing 100% but nothing happens.

Good evening everyone,

FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS - Earn a total of 1 MILLION CR FROM RIVALS. this is on xbox 360

So far I have 180 Rival Wins and a total of 205,000 CR or approx 1140 cr per win - but I’ve raced every RIVAL offering of 1,000 CR or more and the remaining 300 are either 500, 300 200 or 100
Being generous lets say they average 400CR x 300 remaining events and I get 120,000 or a total of 325,000 cr - IF I do one rival race for each of the 480 race/by class events in FH2

So how pray tell is a gamer supposed to amass 1 MILLION CR to do FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS?

Well the only way I can see is to do the same 500CR race over and over and over making certain the first time you set was very slow and beating each rival by no more than a tenth of a second so you can go from 3000th to 2999th to 2998th to 2997th and so forth racing up 500CR each time. If you can manage 1000 races like that you can obtain 500000 CR that way.

Is that the only way to make the RIVALS - FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS ACHIEVEMENT? or what am I missing please?
I’ve gone to each race location on the map and looked through the RACE YOUR RIVAL screens - and what I see is a ton of 100 to 500 CR rivals offerings. = IS THAT WHAT YOU SEE?

I got it really easily but it just takes sometime depending on how well you can race.

While playing the championships in singleplayer, I consistently got a rival challenge that was worth 5,000CR at the end of every race. Since I race with most of my assists turned off I was able to get around 15k to 20k CR per event after you factor in the % gain of the assists. You have to post a fast enough time for the higher payouts since they are harder to beat. Basically it took me around 50 rival events while I completed championships and I had the achievement in a couple of days…

On my 360 events I only saw 5,000 CR Rivals once - The Festival Circuit with Sports Cars and using my Nissan GT-R 32 I managed to get around 20K in CR racing 4 different Rivals and moving up to the top 100. I’ve posted top 1% times in 90% of the events I have raced RIVALS in. But I’ve only seen a 5K reward once 3K rewards 2 or 3 times, 2K rewards about the same and a number of 1 K rewards. So I have to ask if you are racing on Xbox 0ne or 360 - and if it’s 360 I don’t see how my CR Rewards should be that different. I too race with all assists off and I think you will find me in the top 1% on almost all of the circuit races. At 70 years old it’s tough to get better than top 50 - but I’ve done it a few times. Top 1% seems like it should offer more reward but it does not - my 181 Rivals events have netted only 205,900 CR and I don’t see how I can possibly make 1 million in the 300 remaining events since the Rewards for racing against #1 in those events is never more than 2K and I cannot beat the top 50 times.

You don’t actually have to beat a single rival time to get that achievement. You can just run hot laps while in rivals mode and any credits you earn go towards it. The credits will come from mileage and difficulty settings. Pick your favorite circuit track and car, turn off as many assists as you can and run laps until you’re bored. Obviously the achievement will come much quicker if you beat the actual rival and set a top time, but it’s not necessary.

Thanks but I don’t really understand this advice. - Using 360 and I don’t think I’ve seen any option to run “HOT LAPS” in Rivals Mode.
To get to RIVALS I click on SOCIAL from the Map Screen
Drop down one block to the box for Rivals
Click on Amateur, PRO or Championship box
Click on a location
Click on an event
Click on one of 10 divisions from Classic to Supercar
and select a Rival to race in ghost mode

That’s the only option I can see for a Rivals event other that racing a Rival after completing an event race.

My problem remains the same - I am now at 240 races and 330K in CR. at that pace I would have to race another 480 Rivals races at those CR numbers BUT I’ve raced all the offerings over 1000 CR
Even if I could find anther 670 RIVALS races worth 1000 CR each I would have to win all 670 to reach a Million. That would mean beating a lot of top 50 times and at my age getting into the top 1% is a significant accomplishment. Us 70 year old folks can’t really compete vs the Top 50 FH2 racers. We don’t have the reflexes or the eyesight.
This Achievement seems to be almost impossible since most of the RIVALS races I am offered are 100 to 500 CR

I did find another 5000 CR event at the Festival Circuit for Street to go with Sports Cars but that’s only 2 5000 CR events I can locate.
I do have a few 1000 and 2000 CR events so I will continue to try. It just seems odd to me that this is made so difficult
Anyone can rack up 20,000 to 30,000 CR without doing anything in a Playground Game but if you race your butt off to beat a Top 1% time in RIVALS you typically get 1000 CR or less.

So I would love to know how to do these HOT LAPS for CR in RIVALS if it means I can make more CR than 100 to 500 - If I have to average 500 CR to make 1 MILLION with 670,000 needed now it will require my winning vs 1300 Rivals and posting winning laps in 1300 races will take a miracle I think.

I’m pretty certain the 5 Stunts I have not yet completed are beyond my ability - like 30,000 skill points in a Lexus or getting the TVR to 163mph. I haven’t come close to those yet.
But I would be willing to do the races required for 1 million CR in Rivals if it were possible.

On the xbox one it counts more than just the “bounty”. It counts the mileage, difficulty bonus and bounty (and maybe more than that). On the One if you run a rivals event you seem to get around 10k credits just for rocking up and having a go. More than that if you win.

Sounds like on the 360 it is working differently.

What Omega Doom is saying is that (on the One) if you find a circuit race and run 10 laps you get more credits towards the achievement than if you run 2 laps and finish it.

So basically what you are want to do is to improve your time in the Rivals Mode as slowly as possible. But first improve your time so that you get at least 2000 or 3000 CR. 1000 CR or lower is a waste of time.

Then when you get 3000 CR improve your time as slowly as possible.

I was always waiting at the finish line for the ghost to catch up and then rolled into the finish just before them.

Also don’t forget to turn on Rewinds so you can rewind back if you make a mistake.

Depending on your skills in racing games and how often you can improve your time as slowly as possible when you get 5000 CR, this achievement will take for some of you more time to get than for experienced players.

EXACTLY SAT NITE EDUARDO That is exactly what I’ve been doing to get the CR I have. Problem is that the 1000CR and above options are somewhat limited. I’ve done 20 or 30 2,000 to 5000 CR races exactly as you describe - trying to beat the rival by a half second or less. And I’ve been successful at doing that but the chances to do that are very limited from what I can find. Mainly the Festival Circuit so far. I would caution all 360 players who want to reach this achievement to be careful to milk the higher CR payout events as slowly and deliberately as possible to maximize their CR income. If you can get 20 or 30 times the 5000 CR award by this method it seems to be the only chance to succeed using the 360 system

And by the way doing the same race over and over for 3 to 5 K CR at a time is very taxing and tedious. To win by less than a second requires extreme concentration and it is SO REPETITIVE>
