DRIVER RULES AND REGULATIONS

POINTS
The Driver’s Championship will be scored as follows.
At the end of each race, points are awarded based on finishing position.

Earning Pole Position in Qualifying for the race awards 5pts.

Drivers will be awarded extra points for gaining positions in the final result of the race from their qualifying position. 1 point will be awarded for each position gained.
Drivers will also be awarded an extra 2 points if they beat their qualifying time during the race.
B Lobby will have a Points System as follows,
1st : 22 points
2nd : 21 points
3rd : 20 points
4th : 19 points
5th : 18 points
6th : 17 points
7th : 16 points
8th : 15 points
9th : 14 points
10th : 13 points
11th : 12 points
12th : 11 points
13th : 10 points

PENALTIES
Driver points can incur deductions awarded by the race organiser BTR Snakie if foul play is viewed during or after the race.
Points can be deducted for the following:
Causing an avoidable accident
Intentional collision/collisions
Unsporting conduct
Deliberately cutting the track
Any driver who feels they have spotted an infringement must contact BTR Snakie or BTR Members after the race and provide them the Time/Lap and Area of the Track the Incident took place, including all other racers that may have witnessed the incident. BTR Snakie will view this and discuss the appeal to agree a fair solution with the Drivers involved. BTR Snakie decision will be final.
Tip: If you have Kinect Connected, Just Shout “XBOX RECORDED THAT”, then it will be available your DVR for others to View.

QUALIFYING
Qualifying starts 30mins prior to the Race being started (check the calendar for dates and race start times)
Starting positions for the race are determined by order of fastest CLEAN laps recorded during the qualifying period, with the fastest lap earning the pole position.
Collision mode will be set to ALWAYS OFF
You can pit as many times as you wish during qualifying
You can do as many laps as you wish in the 20min qualifying period
You may use TCS on/off - STM on/off - ABS on/off - Manual or Manual w/clutch - Sim Steering/normal steering… its up to you!

If you miss qualifying or you gain a disqualified time you will start at the back of the grid or will not be permitted to race.
Anyone unable to attend qualifying or the race MUST let BTR Snakie know prior to the event start or your place in the competition could be forfeited.

RACE DAY
Starting grid positions will be arranged during a 1 lap parade of the track prior to the official start.
A 45 lap race will have a lobby set at 46 laps, with the 1st lap as a warm up.

At the start of the parade lap, drivers will hold their random position on the grid, BTR Snakie or Race Host will call each driver by name in order of qualifying results to leave their starting position and begin their warm-up lap. Upon crossing the start/finish line which begins their warm-up lap.

During the parade lap, drivers are expected to keep plenty of distance and run at a fair pace thus not to cause damages to other racers braking late losing control on cold tyres etc…
Drivers are not to pass during the parade lap!

At the end of the parade lap, drivers will stop onto their grid boxes and come to a stop.
Pole position is always on the outside (driving line) going into the first turn.

In the case of 20% damage or more before the start of the 2nd lap the event can be restarted.
The race will not be restarted more than twice for anyone.

Any driver that is the cause of a race restart will be placed at the back of the grid, or in serious matters sometimes be DSQ upon the restart.

There will be x2 permitted pit stops during the race these cannot be done on the 1st or final laps. failure to complete these will cause a DNF to your race result, and will be checked via the Replay at the End of the Race.

There is a 10 minute end of race timer on the event. If you do not finish the race event within this time you will get positioned compared to others still racing and at what point of the track they are.

Quitting or disconnecting during the race will gain you an automatic DNF with no points scored for that race.

EXTRA NOTES TO BE AWARE OF:
Drivers MUST verbally call out their entry and exit from pit lane. Failure will result in race position deduction of x2 positions.
Overtakes MUST be called out, whenever possible. Communication is key during the race to prevent crashes… Please use it!

At the end of the race please pass the finish line the game will take control of your car as it reaches the first corner press the middle button on your controller THE BIG XBOX LOGO once, then as you get to the main screen press A, this parks your car into the wall and ghosts it, enabling other drivers to finish the race without you causing them obstruction.

Hi guys, I am very interested in this. I have filled out the form above and I’m just in the process of adding Snakie and sparky on XBL. The only thing is, on the form it asks for a team name, but I’m not a part of any team. Is that a problem?

Can you get a team mate?

If not message BTR Snakie and maybe another driver is in the same boat as you and you can link up with them.

Its better if you have a team mate as it means you can battle for the Team championship as well as individual driver points, so you have x2 things to go for when competing, if you know what i mean, if you dont its no drama, just that you will only realistically be able to challenge for individual points as you will only have 1 driver picking up points for the team championship from each race whereas other 2 man teams will be picking up 2 sets of points.

Dont worry too much dude, glad to have you on board!

remember to have your own livery on your car not a bought one as you will need the GP1 logo on the rear wing with your race number.
for the GP1 logo head to vinal groups and search my name “BTR SPARKY” and its shared for you and everyone to use and add to the car.

Your team mate (if you get one) will need same livery (it will look better on the vids and stream) so you can discuss with them whether to use their livery or yours. Id have one ready to use though whatever the case.

This is our Entry, give you an idea where the GP1 logo should be.

Some Liveries will be basic some will be very detailed, this doesnt matter to us, all we want is individual so no teams are in the same livery.

ie 3 teams running Redbull or McLaren or any other current racing liveries from the real world thats popular, otherwise the videos will be a bit bland and pointless.

We tried dude but it seems it failed due to some offensive language or lettering within the race, …yep, im as lost with you on that one!
Qualifying saved fine, just not the race although i have it saved, it doesnt allow me to share it.

Race 2 today in about an hour and a half from now, at Road America.
