Forza edition Xbox one

Hello I have never made a post before so here it goes.
I was going to buy a PlayStation but when I saw there was going to be a forza Xbox one system I was all over that. I pre ordered the system and waited, on release day with many mess ups on the vendors end I ended up getting the system 2 weeks after the release, I fell in love again. The only problem is that I thought by buying the forza edition system I would have instant access to all upgrades, as this is a forza system and all. But now with these car packs like porche coming out I find I have to buy more packs. The only reason I bought another Xbox system (I have gone through 4 360 systems) was for this game alone. Now I truly do love this game but I do not love the fact this system came with the base game, it should have had the premium edition game included as it is a Forza system and all. There are days I kick myself for this purchase and not that of a PlayStation, until I get behind at wheel of one of my vehicles, too bad it wasn’t a porche but I’m not spending anymore money on a Xbox. Sorry Forza, you all rock but not so much on the bundling side of things.

I can understand where you would have thought that you would have gotten more in game content. However, at the time you purchased an Xbox with a substantially larger hard drive, a custom controller with a custom console paint scheme and sound configuration. I have purchased the VIP, the car pass and I have purchased the Porsche Expansion pack. I feel and some may argue and say otherwise that this was a fair trade for the work and time put in for what we get in return. People tend to forget that it was put out there a long time ago that Porsche Expansion Pack would be a separate charge at release. I have to say it’s like another game for $20 and I feel it’s worth the price of admission.

I’m sure the $20 is worth it. I just miss the days a game came with all of the cars and you didn’t have to pay extra , it’s too bad I can’t use my in game credit to buy cars that are in packs. $3000000 credits and no more cars available I want to buy :frowning: Anyways thanks for reading. See ya out there.

There is not much going on PS4 in terms of racing except Project CARS and F1 2015 and the PS4 controller has only two motors not four as in the Xbox Controller. You also have FH2 on Xbox One and F1 2015…so you didn’t make a bad choice after all as I think FH3 will be amazing too!!!

I’m 99% sure on the list of things included with the system it says “Standard Edition Forza Motorsport 6.” Don’t blame Microsoft, Xbox, or T10 for your ignorance and expect this post to be locked.

True, in fact, I got two of them, one for my sons birthday, and mine naturally.

It is quite clear as to what you get with the Special Edition Forza Xbox One.

It was the first Xbox One to be offered as a 1 terabyt unit, beating COD’s Special 1 terabyte Special Edition by a hair I believe. COD was released first, but the Forza 6 Edition was advertised first…

Anyway, semantics aside, I got exactly what I paid for, but in fact, when I did get them, they’d been reduced by $au50, which was a lovely surprise.

I think today, many gamers expect everything when they buy something. Even if it’s built and offered for sale after the launch of a game. They often think that because they paid ‘for the game’, they meant the entire game, all the way to when its no longer available. Including every piece of content… Irrespective of whether or not it was content designed after release.

I did get a digital code game with each console, but…I choose to buy the disc version, as my son prefers to play offline, so a disc version was required. Again, my choice.b

Did I complain that Turb 10 or MS Studios should have given me the disc version? No. It was clearly advertised as a digital token game…

It was MY CHOICE to buy it in addition to the standard digital game.

Plus, I willingly purchased the VIP Pass, which I have done with every iteration, I also choose to buy the Ultimate Edition for myself, and I purchased the Car pass, the VIP Pass etc For my son, Downloaded everything so he had the same as me.

It was my choice yo buy it all at once.

I saved $ in doing so, and in the end, it all comes down to a persons choice at the time. One should be informed as to What they are buying. And its not the job of the company have to give you content that is available at a cost.

Choose well, be informed about your purchase ( Check things out yourself basically)… And you’ll not be disappointed. Don’t expect things for free, that way you’ll never be disappointed…

I also bought the Forza edition Xbox One. It was clear that it came with the standard edition for Forza 6 and there was never anything to suggest otherwise. I also have a PS4 and Forza 6 is definitely the best racing game on either console. With Project Cars it kind of sucks unless you have a proper wheel and pedals setup and there is no Gran Truismo out yet for PS4. I’m not sure why you are complaining about how in the old days you bought a game and that came with everything and you didn’t need to pay extra. In the old days it came with the stuff it came with on release and that was it, now you have the option to extend the game at an additional cost and it is purely optional. Only Gran Truismo 6 gave away all its extra cars for free and they were virtually all imaginary cars and not real life ones.

Forza 2 was much cheaper in development but whe pay the same price for forza 6 which costs maybe 3 or 4 times more. Did you ever have think about that?? Dlc is one way to realize such projects like fm. In case of forza motorsport the sales for the game and dlc brings not the money in what the development had costs. Specially under the difficult sales situation for xbox one. Times are gone where publisher can give free content.
