Hello everyone,
Today I’d like to announce that our fellow drift team Drift Kazoku is hosting an event called FDC or Forza Drift Championship. This event has been hosted since Forza Motorsport 4 and has a just judging system implemented. Recently following the transition from Forza Motorsport 4 to Forza Motorsport 5 little interest has been show. So I’m here to Spread the word and encourage new and old Forza Drifters of the Forza Motorsport Drift Lounge to join the festivities of FDC and Keep Drifting Fun. Any Further questions and or information please contact Cov killa91mob or JO5HY80Y.
Also all runs will be Judged via replay so if any incidents come up the judging staff can review.
As for lag if any lag that disrupts the event such as, lag slaps, or when we are taking the group picture before the event and a lag explosion happens our staff will kindly ask you to leave.
All these rules are here to make it a better environment so everyone can have fun.
Event Rules are as followed:
Car Specs:
Power 650.4BHP Max
RWD Only
Front Engine Only
Street/Stock/Sport /Tyres Only
Race Roll Cage
No Positive Camber
No Supercars Or SUV’s/Viper 13 Or Vett
A 700 Max
All drivers must stay with same car all season. If you change your car you will lose all of the points you have in the season so far.
Judging:
ANGLE - This is the most important part in FDC, you should try and drift with as much angle as possible.
SPEED - This is very important as it’s what makes the drifting better for the crowd and the proximity.
LINE - This is the line around the course with multiple clipping points that all drifters will try to take. Being on POINT is the best way to improve your victory.
Qualifying:
Drivers will be judged from Monday to Friday and will do two runs which will be rated on a score of 50. Drivers must share the replay to Forza TV and name it ‘FDC’. It will be replay judged and the results will be posted on our Facebook page or on here.
Battling:
1st vs 16th and so on. Battles will be judged by all aspects in qualifying but drivers must also try to stay as close as possible if they are the follow car. Two drivers will line up at the start line and do a 60MPH roll to a certain marker on the section that is being run. From there it is foot flat to the floor. Drivers must not overtake unless the lead car goes off of the line.
Auto Zero:
- Spinning
- Droping 2+ Tyres
- Straightening For 2+ Seconds
- Contact With Walls That Cause The Driver To Loose Angle Or Crash
- Overtaking When The Lead Car Is On The Line
