FORZA DEVS, READ THIS: We are sick and tired of the lack of effort from the devs put into this game

The 90-9-1% rule is a thing, but enough people are angry and vocal now to tell me people have had their fill of this. People who played since FH1 and even FM1. Most people don’t comment and just put the game down. On xbox the numbers prove this.

We are a subset of the larger group, dude. Extrapolations can still be made.

No I don’t. However I would guess the vast majority of players on these forums are not casuals. In saying that both you and I have no idea, just like you really have no idea if the vocal minority are the vast majority here. We both don’t know.

What we can safely assume though is that most/all players on these forums actually play the game and clearly a vast majority of which are currently/still dissatisfied with the state/direction of the game. Again you’re fully entitled to your opinion, so to are others, and no one should be trying to fault anyone for their views.

Just acknowledge what the vast majority are saying because it usually is indicative of a problem.

You say you have days played on FH5. Just how many exactly ?
I’ve been playing it since prelaunch started, so 373 days. hours logged in stats says about 1320 hours of gameplay ( about 55 days ) but I reckon that’s wrong like many other stats as I often play for anywhere between 6 to 12 hours a day. Heck, even did an all-nighter and the following day as well so make that about 34 hours for that day, so I reckon the true figure is about 120 days min of actual gameplaying time.

In that time I’ve seen and reported many bugs that never get resolved or are pushed to the won’t fix by design section. Some of those I get, but major issues should never be classed as a won’t fix by design status. Current major issue I have is no drivability or even an E-Brake with the wheel setup that cost me thousands of GBP so I’m still constrained to using a controller. Is that a minor issue ?

And whether it’s 80% or 2% , these are the people actually playing the game, so yes, they need to be heard. The minor issues reported here probably stem from the casual players that see a hole in an exhaust pipe or something and those sort of issues seem to be the only “fixes” solved.

It is extremely generous, it’s probably closer to at most 0.1% of the entire fanbase, or about 20.000 people

Fact: 87.32% of statistics are made up on the spot

I complain about things, hoping the people who make things will take note and try to improve their products. I not a fan of mediocrity. I do believe the bug list for this game is longer than any other horizon game. And the “we’re not gonna fix it” list is far too long. In fact, there should not even be such a list. I find it strange and yet sad that so many people are willing to settle for what they get, not only in this game but with just about every thing we can buy these days.

Thank God for SteamDB. When FH6 drops (and if on GP and Steam at the same time like FH5), we can compare its initial peak with the 81,096 that FH5 had in Nov 21. My wager is, unless PGG changes its ways, it will be less than that.

And yet another bug/glitch over the weekend that just destroyed the Auction House and the in-game economy. Not a freaking peep out of PG…Not. A. Word.

I can’t believe I’m typing these words, as I have been driving daily since Colorado, but I really think FH5 is it for me. Recycled cars, A completely recycled HWs DLC, still waiting a year later for the 2nd DLC I paid for, no attempt to fix broken leader boards rife with cheaters at the top of every single one or fixing simple immersion issues like license plate illumination on a number of cars if not using the Horizon plate. TDU Solar Crown can’t come fast enough at this point.

Well, marketing thinks there are 20 million people playing this broken game. So here we are, three days into the first leg of a new series. On the Playa Azul rival circuit there’s a total of 245,000 players who have set a time. That’s 0.012% of those 20 million who have taken a shot at Playa Azul. Now that doesn’t mean there are 245,000 people playing the game currently. Not even close. And we have no way of knowing how many of those players have multiple profiles. What that means is there have been 245,000 trys at the game in the past three days. Now I know yesterday the number was 220,000 trys so it isn’t tracking linearly either. I’ll check back around Wednesday and see where the count settles closer to the cut off day. But my guess is it won’t be much over 500,000. If it breaks 500k.

This is the most alarming stat for me, given Xbox is where these games built and grew its fanbase.

Only just over 10% of people who play or have played this game on Xbox even qualified, let alone ran the trial. How many of these players still play it?

I think we can say from this and the previous post is that the 20M hype is just that - hype.
20M is probably the total buyers and free access downloaders but the actual continual player count is closer to the 500K figure. But, of course, that’s not something they would want to publish.

It would appear as though 10% of the HoF players still play the game. And these are the metrics the developers should be looking at and listening to when looking to create new content.

It’s as if they are trying to build a game for the base of players who have left, never to look back. While ignoring those who have stayed with it asking for a better game.

Barely anyone even bothered to photograph the cover car. So there’s some more “feedback” from the silent majority. :+1: (That was one of the first prizes given out, when engagement numbers were highest)

The continual revolving player base is probably closer to 50k. Revolving out of that 500k base of occasional players.

But was that the FE or the standard. I photoed the standard one a long time ago but never had an option for the FE when it was still listed as the one left to photo. Now it says photo the standard one but still not yet photoed even though it says I have got it in the main list. Already been discussing on another thread. I look at promo cars - Mercedes AMG One done, then scroll right and at the end of the list… same car yet to photo.

Nah, it’s the standard one. I photographed the One I won.

Yep - me too. photoed the one in the garage but since they changed the promo to the non FE, it still says that I need to capture one at the end of the list and also says I’ve got it in the Mercedes AMG part of the list.

There’s a Super Seven card that keeps popping up to photograph the FE AMG One. So it should get a higher count. But it still doesn’t get any hits.
