Hi everybody,
before one week I’ve bought Forza 7 for Windows 10 and 'til today I couldn’t play it once!!!
The problem is: Game starts - first screen with the Porsche and the green xbox-live logo - intro turn10 - intro microsoftgames - splash screen with the silver Porsche GT and the pilot with the xbox-logo at the back: “Press Enter” - THAT’S IT! NOTHING HAPPENS! No CTD but no way that the game wants to start.
Task-Manager Forza 7: RAM about 2GB, CPU 15%, GPU 10% - but no game!
Yes, I’ve done the following:
- Deinstalled and loaded the 95GB three times
- Set back xbox-store, microsoft-store, Forza 7 App
- Only installed the game, not the car-pack
Yes, I have the latest NVidia-driver for my GTX1070 and my windows 10 is running smoothly with the fall creators update.
Yes, every other game is running (Steam, Origin, Prepar3D, FSX…).
No, I have no Forza 7 entry in the event-monitor log (perhaps there is no ctd)
So now I’ve payed 70 Euros for a game, that’s not running one single round!!!
Anybody help please!

There are a number of threads covering the same thing, but…
This is an issue with Windows Store and Xbox live and not T10. There are a number of options available…
Download any random free app from the Windows store, this can sometimes “force” the reassociation of the account
Go to start> settings (cog wheel)> apps
Scroll down to Forza app. Click on it. Click on the “advanced” link. Uninstall/reinstall any/all DLC
Scroll down to Xbox app. Click on it. Click avanced, hit the reset button
Scroll down to the windows store app, click on it. Click advanced, hit the reset button
Right click the start button, from the list, select Command Prompt (admin). In the box type wsreset.exe
If all else fails, you can reset one of the the Forza game apps. This will delete your save so you will need to ensure your cloud save is up to date.
If it’s still not working, unfortunately the uninstall/reinstall the game option is the only one that remains
How much free Space do you have on the install disk?
I have about 560 GB free on the disk (I think that’s enough…)
The difference to all similar Posts is that I don’t get a CTD. I just click ENTER on the splash Screen and nothing happens…
