I really like Forza 7, however with each new update I am encountering new issues. During the first few weeks while playing single races in free play I was able to pause the game mid race, turn off my Xbox and come back later, turn my Xbox back on and my race would be waiting for me to finish. I thought this was great, while it wasn’t a proper mid race save like Codemasters F1 games it worked well, actually it was better because it didn’t need to load. Then there was an update and that convenient feature disappeared. Now, after the latest update, if I turn the Xbox off while I’m on the menu screens and then come back later, turn my Xbox back on and launch Forza 7, it comes right up back to where I was, but, if I try to play a new race in free play, it lets me make all my choices and then click “go to track” but the track never loads. I go to home and push the menu button while highlighting the Forza 7 icon so I can quit the game. Highlight it again to restart the game but now Forza 7 won’t load. I have to start another game, then start Forza 7. I’m looking forward to getting my Xbox one X on Tuesday, but I’m also worried about what new problems that will bring to Forza 7.
