Forza 7 returns to the Xbox menu when starting a race?

Hello

I am not a heavy user of this game, I play about 30 minutes a night. It was working perfectly until last night… Load up the game, continue career-it loads the next race but just before it starts, it returns to the main Xbox menu. Turn my console off and on and this time it does start my next race. However, if it follows last night’s pattern, then I will be able to complete this race, but upon completion of this race, when the next race is about to start, it will return to the main Xbox menu.

Any ideas?

I paid attention this time. I completed my race (3/6) went through all the menus until it was waiting at track loading. Then when it switched to “arriving at”, arriving at never really came into focus and then I was returned to the Xbox main menu. Loaded up the game, again, without turning the console off and on again and now the next race is ready to start.

I purchased my Xbox one on launch day.

No issues on the One X here but I cant speak for the OG Xbox One. If nobody else replys with the same issues as yourself I would say hard reset your console and if that doesn’t work try reinstalling.
