my game runs really great without any problems, except a constantly crash to desktop at the Indianapolis Track. It crashes allways at the same spot on the first turn. No matter which direction i drive. When i drive in the other direction i can drive 2/3 of the track and crash to deskop at this spot. Any one else here with the same problem?
I’ve had a few crashes on Indianapolis since this update, doesn’t happen every time but it does happen. Seems to be between the start/finish and 1st corner for me.
I can only guess it is perhaps a bad texture rendering or something, though it could be something very different.
After the latest patch I was having two separate issues… 1) where the game was freezing and sometimes would reboot system (sometimes would recover) 2) Game was crashing to desktop after the end of every race right after the XP Level up was done.
The fix for the freezing/reboots cleared when I set all my graphics settings off of Dynamic and back to a fixed setting (in my case 4k, Ultra and all settings on max).
The crashing to desktop after XP level up was fixed by me deactivating/eliminating the Windows 10 Pagefile. After deactivating the pagefile, screen transitions seem to be faster and smoother.
all of my graphics settings are on “recommended” and that seems to make the game much more stable. Nowhere near as many CTD as before.
