Sorry if there’s already a topic about this I didn’t see one if someone can help explain to me why is it that I have to search creator to see my own designs that I have made when you pull up a certain car you look for a design for it and you know that you have one that you’ve made for that kind of car it doesn’t show up in the lineup Only if I click on creator and search my own gamer tag then it shows Up I guess my question is do other people see my work it seems like I’m not getting any more downloads on my designs

Yes, and I’ve been reporting this situation since September. 
So who do we report it to
My own shared designs show up first from me when I go to search paints on the sharefront, however all the designs I’ve shared are T10 Select paints. Popular and most recently shared paints are always shown first
Go to My Designs in the paint menu and scroll to the car?
FYI …
Not sure if the same method is used in FM7, but in FH3 there is a specific priority order for the first 20 paints that are shown to you when searching for a new design.
(1) Featured Paints (contest winners, T10 selected paints, elite designs up for auction)
(2) Paints by friends and club members from XBox Live
(3) Paints by painters you follow
(4) New paints for the car you’re searching with
(5) Most popular paints (5 star, 4 star, etc.)
One other note … you can follow yourself as a painter and your paints for the car you’re searching with should show up under followed painters in the priority list above.

Guys, if you wouldn’t mind humouring and old fool for a minute… am I missing something? Why would you need to search for your own designs?
For one, I believe it’s currently the only place that you can see the star rating of each of your paints. The star ratings are not working in your My Designs library. Also, with so many bugs in the game, some people may just want to see their listing to verify that it’s even there.

Also, if you’re looking for a certain Design or a Vinyl for your own collection, if you put a “marker” so you know what has been among your Search(es) before, not being able to see your own creation is essential.
I’m not sure if people are clearly understanding my question OK for example I get into my 2013 ram runner forza addition now if I go to my designs yes I can see every design that I made for this truck the problem is when I search on the find designs menu I go through the whole list of peoples designs my design is not there I have to hit search and type in creator which is my self in then my designs will come up so what I’m saying if I have to do that to see my own work where everyone else should be able to see it because I’ve shared my designs how am I then going to get downloads if nobody knows who I even am
This has already been answered. Turn 10 select designs are first, then friends designs, popular designs and most recent uploads. If there has been a large number of uploads your design won’t show in the initial screen and yes you will have to search to find yours among all the uploads
I understand your question. What you describe is how it has typically worked at least for the last few Forza games … you typically can’t see your own designs. But others can … assuming that it falls under one of the categories I listed above. If it doesn’t fall under one of the categories I mentioned, then others will have to find yours by searching for either you as the creator or by the description of your paint.
I just went in the game and checked and it appears to be using the exact same priority order that it did in FH3. It even shows you which of the categories the paint comes from at the lower right under “Recommendation”. It will show either Turn 10 Select (featured paint), Friend (XBox Live friends), Favorite Creator (followed painter), New or Popular. One other note, I can’t see my own designs unless they’re a T10 featured design … so that appears to be one difference between FM7 and FH3.
