For some reason my local games and other forza 6 info were corrupted. So I deleted all local and re synced to the cloud. No problems. But when I restart forza, it begins to go through the new player process!?! Not sure why it’s doing this. But when I check my xbox profile details in the Xbox dashboard, it appears my forza details are ok (correct ranking etc etc and other stats).
Is it when forza restarts its using the wrong profile or something? Not picking up the correct one for some reason. I don’t want to have to restart the whole forza journey again.
I had this same problem. Eventually I just left it on the “sync” screen, went out, came back a couple of hours later and it had worked. So maybe try that?
Remove your profile from the xbox.
Hard reset/ power cycle your console.
When it starts, launch Forza without signing in. Let Forza prompt you for a profile and add it when requested.
Let it sync, and keep an eye on it. If it fails, keep trying to resync until it succeeds.
If it succeeds, you’re back in business.
If it never succeeds (it can take many attempts and a long time) then most likely your cloud save is also corrupt, and you’re screwed.
If it finishes syncing but you’re still at lvl 0 then you’ve accidentally saved over your cloud save with an empty one, and you’re screwed.
AFAIK cloud saves are not recoverable. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
