So reading a little into the cover art - it clearly looks like a dark track with headlights on which may be a sign of what is hopefully some upcoming night racing.
Any thoughts?
I think you’re reading too much from what’s just a cool-looking shot.

Surprisingly, he may well be right. Note the absence of raindrops though. 
The RS7 had its leds on for the limited edition cover so that proves lights on in a cover photo doesn’t mean night racing in the game
After reading too much into covers and bull-shots, I’ve learned to never expect a feature until T10 explicitly says it is in the game.
nope. thats not to say day night wont be in the game, just that pic does nothing to indicate it. look at the white lines. what would be lighting them. and those glow but the tarmac is still totally dark? i dont think fm6 is going tron racing. i think it is just a rendering someone thought looked cool. it is not a screen shot from the game. it is just an art decesion. the rule of 3s and pyramiding. the car is one element. the text is a 2nd but would be an upside down pyramid and unbalanced. so put in glowing lines and let them form the pyramid. i dont think there are any hidden clues. there is a ford gt and it will be fm6. i dont think the lines have anything to do with the game. its just an art choice. nothing hidden.
Also to add to the above, it looks like it would be a one lane track so no passing and that would be no fun.
Id say yes to night racing and wet racing.
