Forza 5 had a really bad bug with a constant crackle in the game
Seems like the demo has it in FM6 as well…Anyone else get this

I was having audio issues, but after the my first restart most of the issues disappeared.
I didn’t have the issue in the demo until I chose to race with the S2000. The entire career playthrough was affected including the Indy car. It was like a five year old with his hands on the static button, causing continuous random static screaming at me. Hope this was a bizarre incident…
Yup, same weird crackling audio quality drop as Forza 5. Happens on my tv’s built in speakers, my headphones and my 5.1 system, so it can’t be the speakers. Seems to be worst when starting again from a rewind or when there are a lot of cars near you on the track.
What i THINK caused it was that i was playing the demo while it was still Downloading

Yeah I did hear popping sounds quite similar to FM3, 4 and 5, but not the dreadful static sound bug from FM5.
And thank God there were no micro-stutters during gameplay… don’t want to see those carried over from 5!
I reckon the Micro-Stutters where way worse in Horizon 2
Oh yeah? They were never so bad or frequent enough for me so as to make either game unplayable or two annoying, but definitely something that shouldn’t be there for anyone, to begin with. It’s a T10 game dammit! 
Are you sure it’s not the clunking sound you get as you pass over those steel rails on the track, while driving through the tunnel?
I thought this was going on too, but discovered that it was the fireworks at Yaz Marina.
That was one of the most frustrating issues with FM5, haven’t heard anything like it in the demo but to be fair there’s plenty more cars and tracks to drive and it wasn’t a problem in every situation on FM5. Will have to wait and see, but hopefully fixed.
After my first time through hearing the ‘career’ directions I did the usual. (Mute, play something else via the laptop)
but I didn’t notice crackling in my demo last night with audio on.
I hear no crackling whatsoever in Forza 6 demo. Yes it was a problem in Forza 5 so hopefully it is not back.
Yeah I hear it too from time to time and NO my HT setup is not to blame lol, most games nowadays have more bugs then on a trash landfill hahaha
Turn off your system completely and it should go away. This means unplugging the console so it does a hard reset. This fixes the issue on Forza 5 as well.
comes up only when I race the gt in Rio in the tunnel, it gets really bad… it sounds like the right side of my vizio soundbar is going to die. its only in that part of the track and only with that car which is odd. never had any issues with any previous forza so hopefully its just a fluke with the demo
Nope didnt hear any of that. I let every game install fully anyway so perhaps it was that, as long as the stupid rev hanging bug doesn’t come back i’ll be enjoying this game
Don’t worry; there’s no rev-hanging bug in the FM games, only Horizon 2.
