Sorry if these threads are common but I am buying a Xbox one today and I want to buy Forza I am leaning more towards F5 but wanted to get you opinions.
Do you want a track racing game, or a street racing game?
F5= more simulation like track racing game where you are racing on a defined track.
H2 = more arcade like street racing game where you are racing to checkpoints while crashing through corn fields (at times).
Yeah I went with Forza 5 I have never player a horizon game but have played all the other Forza games so I had to go with Forza 5.

Yeah to be honest i’m a little disappointed with the game there is just so much content missing that was in forza 3/4.
Honestly I’d say H2 one of the first racers I had on the 360 was test drive unlimited and I loved it 
Yeah I think I will return it the 2 lap races, limited cars, and tracks is just to much for me I thought I would enjoy it but its just to hard to go from iRacing with a GT3 R3 V2 to Forza with half the content of the last game and being forced to use a gamepad. Maybe if I ever feel like dropping the money on a new wheel I will try H2, Kind of makes me sad Forza 5 was one of the main reasons I bought the Xbone :*(
I would have suggested actually spending two minutes reading these forums as there have literally been hundreds of posts detailing all the shortcomings and left out features of this game. I have no doubt that H2 will fall smoothly in line with the same lack of features and issues (lock ups, lost game saves, inability to connect to online lobbies) as did F5, let’s just hope, as a fan if the Forza Motorsports series that they improve leaps and bounds with Forza 6…or whatever they come up with.

At this point - Neither. Go for Project Cars. More tracks and probably more racing-a-like game…

FM5 is way more realistic in terms of physics, FH2 is more laid back and fun (and prettier). I enjoy both, but if you can only have one, I’d say get FH2.
Depends on how i feel… sometimes i feel like setting a record time on le’mans or the ring, in which case Forza 5 is a pretty decent game.
Enjoying the open roads in Horizon 2 as well however. As stated before Forza 5 feels closer to a simulator, also it goes far more in dept with what is posible with the cars than Horizon does.

Forza Horizon 2 is a great game while Forza 5 is a step back from Forza 4, get Horizon 2 by far!
My recommendation…Forza 5. I prefer the physics and sim feel that FM5 offers as well as racing on laser scanned tracks.
Forget Forza 5, it’s not even a half-finished game, very boring 2 laps racing with abysmal AI, i think you should wait for Project Cars instead, Horizon 2 is more arcad, laid back and fun, I myself prefer H2 right now.
True that career mode is a relative bore but it would be the same for me even with ten lap races. I’ve had a blast racing online but that’s just my preference, I prefer to race against real people rather than A.I. (Drivatars).
I also wouldn’t call FM5 a not even half finished game. Yeah there are less cars and tracks but what we do have I’ve throughly enjoyed. I’m ok that T10 focused on quality rather than quantity.
FH2 is Great !!! my best feeling since Forza 2.
