Got an Xbox One with a F5 download. Played yesterday and today without any issues. Tried downloading a car design and now I can’t navigate away from that screen. I’m still downloaded F5, but I’ve downloaded a design before while it was downloading. I tried turning off the Xbox One, but when I load Forza, this screen just reappears. Is there any workaround to this issue?
Firstly even though the console is meant to let you do so I recommend never playing a game until it is fully downlaoded and updated.
Go back to dash and on the big FM5 tile press the menu button and choose quit. Then try loading up the game again.
If that does not work then try doing a cold boot of your console by holding the power button on the console for about 5 secs until it turns off. Then when off turn it on and try again.
Next option is Uninstall FM5 and then reinstall and do not play it until it is 100% downloaded and updated.
If the issue persists after that you may need to clear your saved game from the cloud but leave that as a last resort - try all other options first.
