Got on Forza 4 today, and all of the features were off. I know the club server was taken down, but now everything is. Hopefully it’s just maintenance, as I’ve noticed they were working on 5 the other day, but I was hoping they would keep 4 up till the 360 servers were shut down. Be a tragedy if they ended 4 without notice.
It’s been down for over 9 hours now…tick…tick…tick…boom…
Losing the auction house would be a major, major drag…lots of fun there…
I sure hope its just maintenance! I know its considered an old out dated game, but theres a hell of alot of people still playing FM4. After being loyal forza players for this long, I think they owe to us to keep the servers going until Xbox scrubs the 360 servers all together.

I came here as well because the server is down. I was really wanting to get some points tonight.

If they servers were going to be pulled there would of been some sort of announcement I do believe it could be maintenance of some sort.
It may say that they’re down, but if you do “find quick match” you’ll find a few AI and one or two real life people as I’ve tested this. I don’t think they’d of pulled the server down for it or they would’ve taken the rewards down for it as well where you can redeem rewards in the form of credits.

I’ll be disappointed if FM4 servers are gone there are still a few points to be had for me on the rewards! 3 days now it’s been down for me

Are they just too busy with the FM7 launch to even be bothered with these legacy servers? 3 days is a long time to be down.

As mentioned, you would think they would make some sort announcement if they were pulling the plug, but it has been going for almost 7 years and as software goes…older versions become redundant.
With the launch of Forza 7, this gets farther and farther in the rearview mirror.
They will obviously shut this down at some point, but for good customer service…us…they should send out one of those global messages to everyone.
Some sort of Auction House in future versions as well.
I have a new X-Box 1 with Forza 6, but still end up back here on Forza 4 many times a week…

I was wondering the same thing, I really hope not but I’ve even tried tweeting at them to ask and haven’t gotten any response
And I thought they banned me for no reason. Because I know when we have a unicorn we can be banned and I bought a Forza 3 code from Italy to get one. I thought it was not just me, but when i asked to my friends on Trueachievements.com, one of them told me, he could access the auction house and I can’t. I can’t even access my own mail. 
Also I looked it up and when you get banned you get a message from Turn 10 telling you so
So did I. No I can’t access mail, storefront, auction, etc. Honestly I just want the storefront
Kind of hoping they just accidentally broke it moving resources around for FM7. Been using 4 to get myself over the line on my next tier.
On an upside though, FM3 appears to have updated (level/cars/mileage) on Hub for the first time in years. Hopefully if/when they bring FM4 back up the car count will work again.

Its over guys… theyre reallocating resources to FM7 and to boost FM6 and Horizon3. The servicing contract for FM4 online ended last week. As of Jan 3 2018 all services for FM4 and Horizon1 will end. The terms of use say that they’ve got no legal obligation to give us prior notice about any changes to or discontinuation of services. Between FM6/7, H3 and H4 next summer, they have no use for the legacy games and its not financially worth it to them to maintain old games on an outdated platform. So, we’re screwed!
Source? You can’t just say something like that without a source. This is something Turn 10 would announce before just shutting it down.
