I believe the TG content was called Stig’s Garage Car Pack (?), but I’m not able to redeem the code that would enable the Motorsport Legends car, Sidewinder Proving Grounds and Benchmark High Speed track packs. So, to get most of the extra content, I should buy the Ultimate Edition of the game (which would be the 3rd version of the game for me since I have the vanilla and collectors edition)?

Yes that’s one of the Top Gear content. There are 3 but just the Stig’s Garage is used “by the game”.

Its just a pitty i didn’t start forza series earlier as i would like to have all the dlc for forza motorsport 4 to help with my forza rewards also the auction house on FM2 and as thers not that many online with the latter thers 2 achievements i cant get and the reason I got these was to do all this its just a bit annoying a big company like Microsoft dont see that thers still money in it for them maybe sometime in the near future they will release all the dlcs as a classic ultimate forza edition i for one would buy it if it had all dlc content on discs

Hi guys! Need help here. I bought new LCE edition of Forza 3 from amazon.de. But the vip code is not working, it detects as a vip code but then when you press activate it shows up an error like “something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help”. i tryed it from US, Greman region and all the same. The MS support is trying to help and we did a lot of things like changing a password and other staff, nothing seems to be working. they even gave me a link to try activate it from it and today i tryed to activate this link on another account, but it didn’t work (the link should work for any account btw). So as far as i understand now the lce code is just not working for any account. will it be fixed or do the vip codes are not available anymore? the information i’ve read here is quite fresh so i just dont know what to think anymore.

It’s the region. Sadly you can’t redeem it with your account. Perhaps buying a UK version would work, as I’ve seen people from Poland saying that worked for them.

i finally did it, guys. the thing is it may not work when you change region on your xbox one, but it works when you actually use “migrate” option Sign in to your Microsoft account

so i just made another account, did the migrate thing, redeemed the code and downloaded my vip on my console, which means i can use it for any account on my console, so i got vip for my main gamertag

That’s nice. Now you can have even more fun!
Changing region of the account is not something I’m willing to do though. Because I don’t know (and I bet even the support wouldn’t know) what happens with the other region locked content owned for other games in the account.

People willing to do this, keep in mind some of the VIP benefits can’t be used by other gamertags, like the Crown in the leaderboards. But some VIP-only DLC can be used in game.

Tatl360 , I have a crown on my main account, I don’t really care about the changed region of another account I would never use further, so where’s the problem?

Really? Then the FM3 VIP allows that. That’s good to know.
The Forza Horizon VIP doesn’t allow that, because no one who plays on my console have the Crown. The newer games also don’t allow that as stated in their forums (I have it for FM5 and Horizon 2 but never tryed with another gamertags to check VIP availability for them). So you are lucky because FM3 is old and they did it that way.

Not a problem, but is just something I wouldn’t do with my main gamertag, as I said. I tought you changed your region of your gamertag because you said you got the Crown. And comparing to Horizon, the cars can be bought, but no VIP benefits for other gamertags on the same console.

These old formats are kind of good. Like the Season Passes for FM4 and Horizon that can unlock the content with just the demo packs. They modernized those things now and the newer versions are more “restrict”.

Yesterday I bought FM3 Ultimate Edition. It came with a Stig’s Garage car pack. I think the game is from UK and my location is Poland. Will the code work now?
